Such an extraordinary picture of an extraordinary knife-- and the "companion" pictures you took at the same time were great as well. "The Life."

Love this picture, you are really knocking me out with your photography lately!

Thanks, Doug! I appreciate your encouragement. With this one, I mostly just see me in the bolster. Uh, sshhhhh. (I'm guessing at least one of y'all goes back and looks. ;))

A worthy pair! Would that Case jack be referred to as a "regular jack"? Whatever it is, it's perfect-- like a GEC #25, all growed up! Nothing's quite like Case's old red bone, though others have come close (not, sadly, Case).

Not that some of Case's more recent offerings aren't exceptionally good. :)

I was unhappy with the factory dye job on the MCH, and boosted it up with a packet of denim blue RIT. It worked well, but you couldn't tell from this over-contrasty photo, sadly.

Your picture is clear enough to see some fantastic blue.
I wish I'd gone with Denim instead of Navy when I dyed one of mine. Next time....

Sarah, I'd say "regular jack" I like the "all growed up!" part, took me back to my youth, I'd tell my mom "when I get all growed up" someday...

She still laughs when she thinks about that :p

I saw you the first time, but the beauty of the knife and its setting carried the day.
