What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

You won't regret the #15 at all, Doug. But you should definitely get a #55 as well....:D

It has obviously been on my mind. This was my submission for Mike's amazing giveaway:

The Otter with the nice camel bone scales was with me today... and the nice Otter badge I got from Jack Black :D

Little funny story with the badge, I wore today on my jacket - I went to the office early in the morning and my colleague asked me: "What are you doing with a weasel on your jacket?!"

I told her: "This is no weasel, it´s an Otter."

She just shook her head...

Case Peanut SS in Harvest Orange

My 'Nut has yet to encounter a daily cutting chore that it can't handle... I'm a believer! :)

I have an early start and a long journey tomorrow to attend the funeral of an old Sheffield boy, so I'm taking a piece of old Sheffield with me.

Beautiful piece to carry in tribute Jack...safe travels.

Still totin' my 66 in Cocobolo, really liking this pattern...

When I was a kid, I worked as a stockboy and carried a knockoff 55 for boxes, twine, and such. (I couldn't afford a real one.) It was not a quality item, but it earned its keep and won a kind of fondness for it.

Twenty years later the real thing drops into my pocket just like its predecessor, and feels like an old friend already.

^wow, that bone...it sure ain't ugly!

Thanks, it's quite hard to capture how pretty the bone is on this knife! I'm going to try and get some more pic's over the next few days. GEC are doing some lovely work with bone right now, this one is nicely balanced with depth to the dyeing and even on both sides.
