That is a fine combination of tools ( knives). Apples are not the only things trembling.![]()
And the tools for the day. Apples fear me!
Great stuff BrotherGlad to hear the Tortoise got removed to safety, are they common in your gardens? Mowers and trimmers can inflict wounds or usually worse on wildlife. Many Hedgehogs have perished that way in Europe. On the other hand, the shell could be a future resource for knife-handles.....
As for those tools, just a wash down and a little steel wool but don't you go spoiling the collectible aspect of that fine 'patina'
They still hold a great edge...
Two nice "brushed-finish" Ebony knives!!
I like ebony in general, but the brushed ebony has been great this year. The bunny knife is pretty much perfectly black and the toenail is also very dark with some color in the right light. I do regret not being at the rendezvous to try and get one of the ebony Northfield toenails though. A great year for GEC and ebony for sure. Two nice "brushed-finish" Ebony knives!!
Getting one of those "toenails" in hand convinced me that the Bunny would work with that same finish!!
That’s a fantastic looking Albers Jim.![]()
Love the covers on that fine knife, Jim. Beautiful knife all around.![]()
Grail knife! Some Corn Husk Raffir helps to warm up an otherwise cold, gray day...

Happy for you Todd.
