Jon, your daily carries are classic...but your memento knife looks extremely functional in the field. The story definitely makes that knife a treasure.I was reminiscing back through the year and remembering some great highlights. I was able to travel to Azerbaijan and meet some new friends One of them was a hunter and loved that I was into knives. He said that he would have “his guy” make me a knife and he would mail it to me. This came, and it will be forever a great memory from that trip. I think it is a knife put together with lots of love from mail order parts. Such a cool gift to have.
My daily carry is on top of a tea saucer that is adorned in traditional Azeri symbols. I’m a fan of any country that puts guitars and music symbols on their most common currency!

Jeff, they are two beautiful examples of what pocket knives should encompass. Not really “old”, maybe medium old?
1970 Case 48 pattern slimline trapper, which agree or not, is also often called “farmer’s jack” as well. Jigged Delrin. CV steel.
Pre-1950 Camillus #68 Stockman. Found at the fleamarket maybe ten years ago for $6. At the time, I didn’t know it had a shortline tang stamp because of the grime. Jigged bone that I re-dyed.
