Have a Merry Christmas with your family 🥂 🍾

Christmas came early...
My rocking chair is new here on the porch but have always felt welcome.
A gentleman who, like me, appreciates fine knives and the craftsmanship associated with them surprised me today.
His gesture far outweighs mine to him. Mr.Primble graciously sent me a fine ettrick, which I will cherish, as much for the friendship, as for the fine knife.
Thank you Rob.View attachment 2025616

Manny has the run of the fenced in back yard, but going out front ~ taking out a bag of garbage, wheeling the can down to the road and back, fetching the mail, a car ride, or taking a knife photo, he’s right there behind me with that look that says “You need me to come along, right?”

Today, he said “hurry up and take your picture, so we can get back inside!”80DACB59-C420-41B9-B928-C401E1737F68.jpeg

No, I believe the dog was concerned you might drop that Grohmann in the blizzard  always liked them, really comfortable and precise users.

Thanks, Will

 🤣 I said you might have it for New Years and you got it for Christmas !
You are welcome my friend and I can see the spots in the Ebony, which I called my Black Spotted Leopard Ettrick ... now your BSL Ettrick. 😊🎄

Merry Christmas to all here on the Porch, take all my knives and leave just one, this one! carried often then set aside but back in the pocket of late. It holds more memories then any knife I own, through weddings, funerals, holidays, birthdays to mundane things such as sporting events and such...this is "thee knife" for me, a worry stone and familiar friend (if a knife can be a friend) it just puts a smile on my face :)

MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE!

You must know my dog. If it’s not interesting, it’s concerning. Much like his owner and alpha pack member.

I love the wood on your GEC 38. Lots of character.

Much like it’s owner, right?
