What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Hope everyone has a good Christmas Eve!! Feeling festive and nostalgic this cold frigid morning , so carrying a pocket knife icon, can’t beat a good ole’ Barlow knife! View attachment 2025504
Bunny knife might give it a run for the money, but, that red 77 has always been a looker ! 😍

Beguiling Bunny Knife, Rob! Seems like you can use your "time machine" in either direction, making old knives look almost new and new knives look almost old!

Always appreciated GT !😊

A pair of 2013 knives that don't get out often, a rust red sawcut TC and Irish Jack Forum knife 🙂

Thank you and have a fine Christmas !😊

Another case of fingers not connected to brain. Chestnut, it is.

I get that a lot with those moving emojis Frank !🤣 Classy sowbelly !😊

I love the new mug, they’re so nice. Does everything taste better in the mug or, or it it just mine?

No.... it's not just yours ............. it absolutely does !:thumbsup:🤣🤣

Well ......... I was up about an hour earlier than I hoped this morning, thanks to motor mouth Elijah J. 🤬🐈‍⬛😸
The official Mesonet temp for my county is currently hovering at 0.0 degrees ........... I reckon you can't get closer to zero than that ! 🤣
Going to be twenty degrees warmer today, with a high of 17 forecast.👏

I decided on three of my GEC's for this Christmas Eve. Merry Christmas to everyone ! 🎄🎄😊

That Viper is stunning sir ! Stay warm!

Thanks, Todd. Cool stag treatment. It polished up nice. If the tracking is right, my bunny knife should be here just in time for Christmas.
That’s good news, nice stocking stuffer.
😉👍
Looking good. Did it already skin a bunny?
Nope, no bunnies, just several apples and some steak. 😄👍
I carried my soda scout today.

5K Qs 5K Qs Thank you, it's a very satisfying knife in the hand, like many French knives. Big Sheepfoot like you say and similar to your own Barrel knife from Le Sabot. Not expensive yet the F&F is good, the etch GR Gouttière has disappeared due to my patina militancy. The stamped face is I believe, meant to denote Old School carbon knives- les couteaux de nos grand pères- grandad knives. Some old codger face in a hat and beard. Not sure I altogether go along with this...mine were both born in the c19th :D

GR cutlery is long established I believe and might have a connexion with Gilles Reynewater? Perhaps Jolipapa Jolipapa can give us the facts in the case? Knives-of-France Knives-of-France might be able to shed light and perhaps be able to supply you with a Gouttière (Gutter) pattern, they're not that common though.

Here's another Gouttière, this time in Horn and a welcome&unexpected present from Corto_Malt Corto_Malt :cool:
