Merry Christmas !![]()

Seems like a grand day planned for you and your family. Classic carries for a merry day.Woke up at 6:15 a.m. to what seems like a balmy 9 degrees. Forecast to make it up to 21 degrees today.I won't have so much to do until after lunch, when my cooking will commence. My son and his wife plus my all important grandson will be over late this afternoon. I got to thinking yesterday that what I was having for Christmas dinner might not be a favorite for my grandson, so I whipped up a casserole dish of baked spaghetti, just for him. Spaghetti is his number one favorite. I reckon I might be spoiling him a bit, but, that's what grandson's are for ........ right ?
In the meantime, I am enjoying a cup of hot chocolate this morning. I'll be totin' my Primble Barlow and the Lion of Lucerne for this festive day.
Merry Christmas to all !

Elephants and Bunnies and Slips - Oh My!View attachment 2023741
Lucy and our BF knife in the pocket today riding comfortably in a couple excellent slips from Jeremy @sbh06.
Thanks, Tyson. The rosewood is probably my sentimental favorite since my wife and daughter bought it for me in Barnitt's hardware store in York, England while they were on their "European Tour" several years ago. That's a great shot for illustrating the size difference between those three. All three are beauties, but your rosewood lamb is particularly nice. Angelic, even.
Hope you (and everyone else here hunkering down for the storm) are able to stay warm and stay safe.
That is a sensational muskrat! (That's what I call it, despite whatever its real name is.) I'm glad (and not surprised) you carry it frequently, so that we can see it often!… got a break and took the opportunity to better represent today’s tote …

That Schrade Walden clip/pen trapper jack is very comforting (and the Christmas ornament is somewhat disturbing/scary)!It’s snowing, but I don’t care. As soon as Andie finishes her breakfast, we’re going Christmas shopping. I like to shop early.
Schrade Walden 294 ought to suffice.View attachment 2023826View attachment 2023827
Nice lineup Gary.![]()
Thanks, Todd. I can hear the beautiful Christmas music generated by your "piano keys" knife pairing! It’s these two for me today. The wind is picking up and the snow is starting to fall so it’s inside pictures for me today.View attachment 2023898View attachment 2023899
The covers on that knife are outstanding/outrageous, David!View attachment 2023976View attachment 2023980View attachment 2023989View attachment 2023994
Carrying this old Henckels whittler today. It has the thickest, stoutest main on any traditional I've ever seen. As you can see it has plenty of bark,it also has plenty of bite if you ain't careful!
Have a great Christmas, Greg, and make the most of your time with whoever is able to show up!Carrying the Old Grand Dad knife around the house today, in the breast pocket of a wool vest, worn over a wool shirt. Dressing like this in the heated indoor comfort of my own home makes me feel like an old grand dad,..... which I am.
Will only be with one of the six grandkids on Christmas Day this year, which is disappointing. Two have moved south and the other three have traveled there this year to spend Christmas them. Christmas Day here at our house with all the family is always my favorite day of the year.
Will be a bit of an adjustment for me this year.

Love the rojo mojo for the holiday!Getting into full Grinch mode now. I did scrap ice for the ladies in my department this afternoon in the bitter cold. Maybe that will buy me some points with Santa. This 36 is my Merry Christmas to me knife.

Splendid light show, Dan!
Sublime stag, José!
Congrats on the classic Case muskrat, Bob! I used to have little respect for that pattern, with 2 identical blades. But somehow I've become a fan of muskrats as I became older and hopefully wiser. An old/ new muskrat today.View attachment 2024534

Have seen a great light;
Those who dwelt in the land of the shadow of death,
Upon them a light has shined. Isaiah 9:2

Festive carries you have today Steve.
Seems like good memories Ed. Fine carry.I got to reminiscing a couple weeks ago about my first ship in the U.S. Navy which was a Destroyer (DD) commonly called in the Navy a "Tin Can". I joined the Navy in June 1965, went to boot camp, and then the Navy sent me straight to the USS Henley DD-762 as a Seaman (E-3) and I rode her until July 1966 when I caught a set of orders to Kami Seya, Japan. Anyway, I ordered up a "Tin Can Navy" hat for myself for my Christmas present to myself this year and while I was at it, I ordered up a two-blade Lambfoot knife manufactured by A. Wright. The hat's great and the knife's great. I'll wear the hat and carry the knife to my sister-in-laws for Christmas dinner today. Sausage and eggs for breakfast.
