Ah, the 1970’s era Case Canoe with the etched blade. What a great knife for fall or winter. I can lose myself looking into that blade etch. It evokes everything I love about traditional pocket knives.

Hey GT 5K Qs 5K Qs , in response to your question, it is rare for us to drop below freezing in south Louisiana, but it does happen more than I would like. It never lasts more than a day or two, but, with our humidity, it sinks down into your bones! Or maybe our blood is just too thin. I posted the Canoe photos for you, because I know how much you love the pattern. And rightfully so!

Rosecraft Appalachian Jack.
This sucker punches way above it's weight. I picked it up as a knockaround work knife I wouldn't mind hurting, and liked the pattern with the addition of the pry bit at the heel there.

Turns out, it's a seriously nice bit of kit. I'd call the pull a 7/10 with a solid half-stop. Walk and talk is great, fit and finish is flawless. I'm really very happy with it.

That's a great-looking knife, Mike!:thumbsup::cool: I have a blue mini copperhead with red Case shield that I think is one of my most visually-appealing knives. I wonder if Case pays more attention to the bone dying and jigging on knives with the red shield?

Thanks GT :) If Case did that, they could create a whole new class of collectability 🤩
