Hello Porchidians! Apologies for the absence, SHTF right around Xmas, wife went down hard with Covid and slept for a week while I took care of the kiddo. Here's a nice photo dump to hopefully make up for my tardiness.

During the worst part of the cold snap. That frost is inside my house The gas fired furnace could not keep up and I had to run out and buy a kerosene heater and lots of fuel. 40$ a day for kerosene ate up 100% of my knife budget, but beats freezing a water line

Will be busy today catching up as best I can on what ya'll have been carrying. I might make another post with today's carry if I ever put on pants...

Bought my daughter one, and she lost it briefly. Our Lab buried it in the back yard!
Was able to get the rust off the CV steel, but it has scars. She loves the knife, though.

Jack took me for another walk this morning. I carried a nylon Bantam, '93' Buck 501 [ which happens to weigh 10 grams less than a '2015' 501 ] and Mora carbon Companion

I really do like it, Will!

Might be a little heavier ( I just tossed it on the kitchen scale,1.9 oz/54 g) then the micarta, but a nice light, thin carry. The blade is awesome! M390, nice and wide, not too thick, flat ground, spine jimping, super swedge! I like the Ziricote covers, the shadow pattern, the lanyard tube. Great walk and talk, fit and finish. Wow, I went on and on!

Yeah, I think I like it!
