What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Set aside these two M390 Italians for Saturday. Have a safe weekend everyone.

Many thanks JJ, I doubt there's much you couldn't get done with that perfectly practical pair :)
Thank you very much, Jack!!! They were certainly troopers. :)
Have a great day everyone, the weekend is coming ;)

Love the way those two ebony beauties pair up, I think you helped my choice for today! Btw, have you have a chance to take the Steambow for a spin? 😃👍👍

For a little walk and to make a walking pole.

This is a very good combo for the outdoors.

GEC sodbuster 715112 01 tool
Victorinox walker (get one soon as going out of production)

I like the Walker. I like the walking stick. I like the boardwalk. However, it looks as if you should put that knife to work and repair the railing.
Oh... and that Sodbuster isn't too shabby either.

Rob, Sorry to hear you had some awful weather to suffer through. I'm glad it's over and hope things return to normal quickly.
Very happy to hear you are okay! I hope damage isn’t too bad once you are able to fully asses.
Thank you friends ……… it was an afternoon and evening I hope to never see repeated. The weatherman said that it was the lowest pressure reading here since 1970. High winds for seven hours. 😊

Glad you are safe my friend👍👍

Nice to see you back Brother Jim. I had been wondering where you got lost. Nice totes too ! 😍
Thank you, sir :)

Saturday's high is expected to be about 75 here in Lower Alabama. Yard chores calling
Glock (Austria) 81 Field Fixed Blade with Root Saw and Opinel (France) No.08 Gardener will come in handy, piddling around the sanctuary
Random neighborhood cats won't care, don't care

Thanks for the concern my friends. 😊

It appears we have weathered the very long lasting wind storm. The winds have let up a little in the past hour, but, still 38 mph sustained and gusting in the low 50's. That is a bit better than the hours that went by where we had mid 40 mph sustained and gusting in the high 60's and low 70 mph range. My home has lost quite a lot of shingles near the ridge cap, but, I'm not alone, as every house that I can see from inside has similar roof damage. I imagine it will be a long wait in line to get your roof fixed. :( I took a few screen shots of our Mesonet weather system during the worst of it. Everybody had some fine totes today, but, I didn't look very often. Tomorrow will likely be a much better day.😊

Yikes! I hope you can get your roof fixed soon Mr P, and that you are OK otherwise

Many thanks JJ :) Sadly not, the law here on crossbows means that I can only carry the Steambow on private land, which I either own, or where I have permission, so I need to find a few spots. My gardens aren't really suitable, a bit too open, and with the appearance of the Steambow, and the general ignorance of the law, I'd likely be getting Tasered, and carted off by heavily-armed men in black! So far, I've only been able to use it for target shooting at 22ft. Hopefully, when I have a bit more time, I can find somewhere to practice regularly. How about you JJ, you getting to know it?
I grabbed a couple wearing ebony earlier today. :)
Stunning Black Friday choices my friend :)

Wishing everyone a great weekend :)

While rummaging through some old boxes, I found one marked WW II. Found photos of nose art of my father's B 24's.
Strangely enough, during the war he had to bomb his father's home town in Sicily.

hope picture meets standards of the porch. Will gladly delete

Nice looking knives.
Did you father know it was his father's hometown? That had to be tough
