What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

I have assigned Peter Rabbit and my Osage Orange TC to pocket duty today. Most of my other knives are put away into what I hope is a safe place.
Not liking the forecast this afternoon. :( Many of the schools are letting out at noon and the Governor has been advising caution.
At least I have a basement for Elijah J. and me to hide out, if needed. Going to be a wild ride after lunch till late evening, or so they say.
For anyone else here that's in the crosshairs today ..... be safe ! 😊

Charge the cell phone, bottle up some water, grab a flashlight, and hunker down with EJ.

Fine pair of Jacks, Jose.

Agreed! The D2 were my favorite too. All mine came butter knife blunt, but once I got them all thinned out and sharpened, I couldn’t be happier with them. I feel that this particular Congress was one of the last of the good ones. I prefer the WCSB over the ACSB, but that’s just me.

Crappie 71
Yes, I'm in the same boat as you, really liked the WCSB, there appear to be two different types of ACSB, the later ones being not only not so attractive but inferior finish. I have a single-spring Muskrat (they should ALWAYS be single-spring) and that's in ACSB, really think it's one of the best finished production knives I own- even though I'm indifferent to the pattern. Didn't like the BEM much, looks pinkish and the Horn was often problematic, did like the Zebra Wood and Walnut though. A Big Stockman in either would be desirable. Sad what happened with Queen though, the end stuff was pretty dire.

Regards, Will

I believe that’s much like my left front pocket tote, the Canyon.View attachment 2102288
And if you’d prefer a corkscrew in place of the Phillips, there’s the Viking. I dig Wengers.😁
Yes, the only difference between the two is the Canyon has a small clip blade where the Trailblazer has a nail file.
There's alot to like about Wengers, such as the belly on 85mm blades, a locking screwdriver and a frame surrounded by it's covers. Smooth and well finished.
BTW great watch and no doubt smart enough. ;)
Have a great day my friend, no matter what the weather.

This bone is much better in person. Though I do have to sharpen it looks like it slammed shut while at the store and has a flat spot on the edge. It was the last one and the display.View attachment 2102504View attachment 2102505
Case's bonestag can be hard to do justice too. I tend to play with lighting and angles more than a healthy person would o_O. I find if I take a whole bunch of pictures I sometimes get one or two really decent ones 🤓
I think the bonestag on the sodbuster looks great 🤩thumb.gif

That Sao is a beauty.

I agree with Bob. That bone is gorgeous.

Thank you very much, this is new purchase to me off the exchange, and the bone is really nice, I am very pleased with it.

I think I’m allowed to note that VCM3 VCM3 is a Bladeforums supporting dealer who has some Max Sao Knives on his site and the exchange, VCM Custom Knives.
