I'm sure you are glad to have that out of the way Mike. I like the depth of that black on your lamb.Got up and did my state taxes today. I get everything back that I paid, so I probably should adjust my withholding. Coffee and a scrambled egg with onion, bell pepper and jalapeno mixed with heavily spiced roast beef hash from a can, all rolled in a low carb burrito shell for breakfast View attachment 2109919
No breakfast burrito pic. It didn't last long enough View attachment 2109921
Lambfoot for the moment.

Yesterday’s carry and an absolute awesome experience re-enlisting at yesterdays Cardinals Yankees spring training game.

Absolutely. Thanks for the knife compliment. I agree and think it looks pretty good. What's surprising is it was a "second", apparently due to a few very small "flaws" in the wood.I'm sure you are glad to have that out of the way Mike. I like the depth of that black on your lamb.

I concurr with everything Bob said. Thank youCongratulations and thank you for your continued service. It looks like a grand day for the family.
Carry that color proudly.
Bob
Steve, great jigging and color on the Jack.
Thanks Bob, same here! You have the knife situation under control Jack.
It's very strange on the east coast...we are now getting some of our coldest winter weather, here in New Jersey.
The Compact is to small SAKs what Branston are to baked beans!I changed my mind on the compact, which ever SAK you carry there is always a tool on another SAK you wish you had.
2 layers with scissors ✂ is good in the pocket and the combi tool works well in saving weight, good for urban use.
Here it is with my new to me old little Vic thats just arrived.
The small blade is for watch case backs but has other uses I have found.
Its snowing here but not settling unusual for March.

Mid week is a perfect time to tote a pair of marvelous Barlows (as is any time); those beauties really come alive on your wonderful backgrounds, too!

Many thanks JJ, speaking of backgrounds, that's a cool one my friend
Superb pair of vintage Sheffield slicers HarryLast week we had a little Ice Storm that broke a lot of limbs in the area . We never had any damage but our neighbor behind us did lose one and it fell across the alley and partly onto our property and in front of my back building . I eventually will have to get into that building so I decided to take care of it today . I stopped cutting big limbs and or trees years ago and gave away my power saw but I do have some smaller battery powered saws and decided to get'r done anyhow .

Never once used these but had them in my pockets anyhow .

Very collectible ChipThrowback Thursday with a buttonlock from The Arkansas Knifesmith, Jimmy Lile...best known for the Rambo I+II knives but his patented Lile Lock definitely deserves recognition as well. Really happy to have one of these in the collection, such a cool piece of history from a legend in the industry.

First ballgame of the year Cardinals vs. Tigers spring training. Had to go with red micarta, the hot dog shield, and baseball bat knife.
Today I switched over to my Otter in smoked oak and carbon steel

Loved to go to the store in Freeport, MaineExcellent pair, Jack.
That’s a really cool knife!
Sounds like a good time!I love the baseball bat knife!
Nicely paired, Paul. It’s nice to have one straight edge and one blade with some belly.
Interesting fixed blade. Definitely colorful!
That’s some serious ebony goodness!
Looks like that blade is nice and thin behind the edge.
That’s a little beauty, Paul. I’ve never handled one of those in person, is the spine of the punch folded over like the punch on an Alox Pioneer?
I’m carrying this new-to-me Wenger Sportsman today (my first Wenger SAK). Got it in the mail this morning, cleaned it up a bit, put a fresh edge on it and it’s good to go.
