What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Beautiful knife.

(I had to go take a look for his website. Bookmarked for later consideration.)

Thank you, Gordon. I have the McAlevy Hunter and a Bird & Trout (thumbs below). Both recent acquisitions. Matthew McAlevy does terrific work; both stellar looking, while easy to carry and use. I am glad to have them.

McAlevy Hunter and GEC 93 Ramfoot today for a hike with the dog.

How do you like that little case Congress?
I was eyeballing those (because of course I need another small knife), and I wondered about the execution … fit, finish, etc.
This particular example I’m very happy with. I don’t have any blade rub” as of yet “ even with all those blades but I am strategic on how I open the blades lol. I believe the fit and finish is very nice at least to
My standards :)

Cleaned up around the place yesterday and Cindy threw away quite a few of her lawn decorations and I had to reassure her that she could buy all the replacements she wanted. We'll be at it again today while the weather holds straightening up the pole barn and it'll be my turn to dispose of things that have seen better days. This Copperlock should come in handy. Eggs and waffles for breakfast.

Barlow in front pocket and my latest 84mm build in the messenger bag. Going for a test ride on the bicycle with new Zehus hub
Once again I’m compelled to compliment your SAK modding. 👌
Are the pins through pins, or just holding the covers?
I need to research taking SAKs apart…

Still carrying the queen big boy trapper but pictured it with the case panama Jack if anyone was interested in a comparison the case has half stops and the queen doesn’t very similar blades View attachment 2154243
Nice pair.
Some folks have strong opinions on half stops , I don’t. I have and like both with and without, but admit I feel a bit safer with.
Which of the two do you prefer?
Another slim Sunday, sweet Serge slipjoint in the pocket😎 This Serge Panchenko Wildcard is an awesome piece, sunken joint/flush spring/walk and talk... he really nailed the subtle touches that make a nice slipjoint a pleasure to carry and use🥰

Nice! Are the scales titanium? And if so, do you have tools that can engrave it?
Not a single solitary scratch.View attachment 2154301
I imagine it’s like getting the first ding on a new guitar~ almost a relief.
Almost. 😁
Beautiful pair, nicely shot. 👌

Nice choices, Jose’.
I should tote the 5 more often…
Flew from Canada to England with carry on only, so could not bring a knife. John @Johnnythefox generously provided me with this SAK, along with a well stocked go bag. I will be carrying the SAK for the next few weeks.View attachment 2154388
Very thoughtful and hospitable of Johnny.
It’s very uncomfortabke to not have a knife!
Meeting fellow Porchsters is a real pleasure.

Not sure of the difference, but 125 USAs are fairly easy to find.
Finishing the weekend off with this stag gem from Dunlap

I dig the polished amber stag on the edges.
Awesome chunk of old wood for knife posing, too.
