What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Yes it’s very interesting. I’m only a little bit into it so far.

As I understand it, only a portion of the book is factual happenings. The other portion is embellishment, guessing, generalization, misinformation or incorrect info, etc...

Simple week for me, not going to be doing too much roaming. So, Alox Cadet and mechanical Timex (recycled pic).

Definitely JJ, I was glad I took advantage of the sunshine, as it was rather dull here yesterday. I try never to be knowingly under-knifed! :D;)
Seems like you had a great time and you always had very cool cutlery choices! :):thumbsup:
Just Big Rose for me today :)

Your Big Rose and a mug of a strong caffeine beverage is a great way to start the week!;):thumbsup:

SWEET setup!!
Thanks Brother 👍🏻👊🏻
Just switched out a Rotel and added a matching Parasound P6 preamp to go with the A23+ this weekend and couldn’t be happier sounds amazing. They’re running with some Kef LS50 Meta’s or Klipsch Rp8000F’s depending on the mood and music .For some extra bass when needed I blended in a SVS SB pro1000 sub . My Audiophile hobby that goes well with my passion for knives :)

Excellent research Barrett  :)

Thanks, Jack. I found from another source that the J. stood for “James,” certainly the least interesting of his names. 🤣

Who would name their kid "Netherclift", even for a middle name?? I know nothing about Middle English, but might that name be a synonym for "butt crack"?? :rolleyes:o_O

🤣🤣 I did see it mentioned, in the Google results I found, that Netherclift was his mother’s maiden name.

A nice, no-nonsense pair there. That Timex mechanical is a good looking watch. I’ve been wearing a very similar-looking (although cheaper, plastic case, quartz) Timex for a few months, after my Luminox of 20 years bit the dust.

Eleanor had school off today for Memorial Day (she only has four more days to go until summer break), so I took the girls to a movie. I had my stag HHB and an Opinel No. 7 with me.

Thanks. I do wish companies would consider people with dexterity issues when they design stuff. I have a difficult time gripping the crown. I need to find one with a larger/ taller or flared crown going forward. Otherwise, it's a decent watch from what I've experienced so far.

Congrats to your daughter (and her rabbit, and you) for her 4-H success at the county fair, Bart!:thumbsup::cool:
Not easy for me either. I still play basketball twice a week with guys who are all younger than me (some by at least 40 years). I can't jump much anymore, so I don't try that very often, but I can still pass and shoot and defend reasonably well (especially since I know almost everyone's moves). But last Tuesday I didn't react fast enough to a guy changing direction unexpectedly on offense and the top of his head smashed into my right eye socket. We both sat out of the game for a few minutes trying to decide if we were conscious, then got back to playing. He ended up getting a couple of staples in his scalp afterwards where it had split open from the impact; I had a tiny cut on my eyelid, and the skin around my upper eyelid turned red and swelled slightly for a couple of days. All's well that ends well, but I don't think the collision would have even happened 20, or even 10, years ago.

Thanks, Gary. It was an exciting week!

I’m very impressed that you’re still playing such a feisty basketball game. 👍

Is this the new jack you got recently cleaned up - now with a bit of dye added??? Or is this a different lil beauty? I can’t remember if that one was a Schrade or not. The jigging looks similar.
In fact it is Jon...used some dye to even out coat.
