I hope the appointment goes well Ed and that is one fine knife.Dang!!! Thought I was through with doctors for a while but turns out I've got an appointment with my Podiatrist this morning - toenails cut, trimmed, and polished and an x-ray of the ankle joint where they removed a bone to make my new jaw bone when I had cancer in my jaw bone. Oh well, at least my feet will be all sparkly, shiny, and smooth when he's done with me. Oh top of that, I'm fasting for labs - blood and whatever else. I haven't even had coffee this morning let alone sausage and eggs. Not even my round of six daily morning pills. I'll be carrying my Remington mini-trapper (Baby Bullet Trapper). It's a nice one. The jigging is superb.

Love that bullnose Steve.
So far so good! Hope you make the most of yours as well. Could you kindly tell me a little more about this lovely and functional looking knife, please?![]()
Have a nice day![]()
Right back atchya BobHope your week starts off well....
G'd morning Jeff. Love your seedum, and two very useful knives today. May I enquire about the covers on the Cammy TL? Never seen those before, is it delrin or ?
I see why you fell for that Paul, love the bone and jigging, and the notched liner ices the cake. Nice seeing you around again lately!… as I have expressed before, I am really taken with this Eisenhower penknife (06263; ‘65-‘69).
So much so that I fished a second one out of the ‘Bay (an unplanned acquisition) … note the mis-strike that occurred when attempting to set the pin closest to the right bolster … that little flaw allowed me to pick up this NOS example for a song … unused, unsharpened, and snappy as a little gator … !
Two fine carries Jeremy, that 86 looks like it can handle itself anywhere.
Thanks Bob, it definitely punched above its weight. The 86 is one of my favorite frames and this one is a great example. Nice new lamb, BTW.Two fine carries Jeremy, that 86 looks like it can handle itself anywhere.![]()

Golden era for sure if that’s what was coming out. Stunning Barlows!View attachment 2230882View attachment 2230880View attachment 2230881
Totin’ two Barlows that bookend the 1970’s. The Appaloosa is 1979 and the Red Sawcut is 1970. I still enjoy some current production Case knives, but I believe 1979 was the end of the golden era.
A very nice pair!
That’s a fine pair of 59’s, FC!![]()
Micarta and Mint Jigged Monday.
Finally tracked down not one but two 59's, so I could pick my favorite cover and trade the other. But, I can't decide - so that means I get to keep them both![]()
I am really blown away by how much I love the 59, I've never wanted more than one cover of the same knife before but here I am
