Can't complain one bit about this 72. Tied a lanyard on it and carried it all weekend and yesterday. Today's going to be no different.

I finally dropped my dads knife in my pocket this morning along with the Sebenza. My dad carried it daily for the last 10 years of his life and he has been gone for 10 years now. I’ve always just admired it in my knife drawer. Got it out and sharpened it last night. Every blade was worn down completely smooth so I’m not sure how my dad even cut anything with it. It’s a Puma stockman but other than that I don’t know anaything about it.

The Grohmann won’t be leaving the pocket anytime soon. I like the simplicity of single blade knives and this one is among my favorites - sturdy and utilitarian - a knife made to be used!!

23 Big Jack from the late 1940’s, and a Vic pruner, which is my favorite tomato knife. The flowers are Yarrow. As are these other two…
The white is more common. It’s nice, but I love the purples and pinks. I will save seed from the better looking ones, but I’ll have to tie strings or something on them, because once they dry and fade to brown, you can’t tell which was which.

Another soggy and foggy start to the day in the City by the Bay! I’m sorry to disappoint you Ed but this pic was taken after the garbage trucks came which is why the bins are askew. Not much on the agenda for today other than catching Postie Mike to send off a package to NC. Keeping me company will be the the usual lamb and with a nod to trapper Tuesday a #48.
