That sounds like quite a nice treat, Gary! Thanks for the confirmation, JJ.
This morning I was able to pick up a package that arrived at work last Thursday, but I couldn't get to it. It contains a couple of French knives I bought myself with a Father's Day discount. I hope to post photos later this week.
Lots of nice red there my friend .
Question: you have such beautiful knives, but they always look so pristine; do you use them?
Forum Rules state, "Thou shalt not call out those who do not use their knives".Question: you have such beautiful knives, but they always look so pristine; do you use them?
Thanks, Bob. It felt a little weird being away for a couple weeks.Good to hear from you Bart. Your ever faithful is looking good in hand. Hope all is well on the range.
I’ve said it before but I love seeing your pocketezes. They all have such a cool look to them. That lamb is pretty cool tooFor my non eventful Tuesday.( I hope).View attachment 2232535
Thanks FC. I always knew you were hip![]()
Today was a good day. Turns out AEB-L at 62hrc will take a bit of patina, also a thin edge is dangertown with those fine carbides. Best of both worlds, if you ask me.
Heya Bart, nice to have you back, and thank you. Always love seeing the warm color of that bone on your C/B WT (see how hip I am, even though I can't skate?).
Thanks Vince! I have quite an array of knives, some have seen quite a bit of action, while others are used for "light duty." I try and keep the majority reasonably operational, though.Question: you have such beautiful knives, but they always look so pristine; do you use them?
LOL!I'm way behind on them, Jack! I find the best way to insure no interruptions is blue tooth earbuds, noise blocking ear protection, and mowing the lawn. My wife still manages to interrupt though! Not that I mind!!!
