JonMcD The Grohmann 340S is 4” closed with a 3” blade length - about 7” overall open. It’s a folding version of the classic D.H. Russell Canadian Belt Knife, a useful and well-known pattern in a pocketable form!!

Today was a good day. Turns out AEB-L at 62hrc will take a bit of patina, also a thin edge is dangertown with those fine carbides. Best of both worlds, if you ask me.

Thanks Vince! I have quite an array of knives, some have seen quite a bit of action, while others are used for "light duty." I try and keep the majority reasonably operational, though.

I'm way behind on them, Jack! I find the best way to insure no interruptions is blue tooth earbuds, noise blocking ear protection, and mowing the lawn. My wife still manages to interrupt though! Not that I mind!!!

LOL! I need to remember to put my earbuds in my pocket when I go out! Those podcasts are so enthralling though, it might be something I regret!
