What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Cool pairing Gary :) :thumbsup:
Thanks, Jack. :)

Thanks kindly Gary. Clean air finally with the rain showers helping.
Love those old tunes.
Great combination of green and copper on the penknife Gary. 👍🏻
Thanks for the comments, Bob. :)
I'm not sure why the jigged buffalo horn on the RR copper pen knife shows up so green in my photo, especially in the grooves. In "real life", it looks very black to me with some fading in the grooves. Maybe I messed up the horn color trying to bring out the copper. :rolleyes:

Decided to carry my favorite Barlow today, an Our Best S&D Tobacco Swayback by Bulldog from 1986.

Those Bulldog curved Barlows are very cool, Jeff; yours looks fantastic! :thumbsup::thumbsup::cool:

Pair of attractive pairs, Steve; you bring your A-game every day! :cool::thumbsup::thumbsup:

Everything went well at the Oncologist yesterday. He said there was no sign of the cancer returning and that my flap (that's what they call my new gum) looked great. I know it's Black Friday but I'm carrying this Case Capped Jack again today. Sausage and eggs for breakfast

Congrats on the positive medical news, ED! Dandy Case jack! :thumbsup::cool::thumbsup:

Posted these in wrong thread before.🫣
Got carried away with edge on swayback ( 12°).

Notable pair, Bob! :cool::cool::thumbsup:
I like knives with a wide bevel at the edge; makes it easier for a mediocre sharpener like me to be confident that I've got the knife on a stone at the correct angle.

Case Sowbelly Giraffe Bone

Did you dye yours, or it it just the variation in bone colors? Mine's alot lighter.

Outstanding knife, LT! 😲:thumbsup::cool:

Good morning all. Well, I hoped for rain, now it's forecast to last until next Sunday!

If anyone wants this "toy" pm your name and address to me.( not selling- giving it away. Info found on gritomatic)View attachment 2229207
W😲W! That goniometer is a protractor on steroids!!
I admire your burlap bonanza, Bob! :thumbsup::thumbsup::cool:

Thanks! The black Buck stockmen remind me of my late granddad. He was a treasure.
They are a handy sized stockman, great for summer time carry. I’ve switched to this similar sized Case stockman today.

Now I know the meaning of "green with envy", Paul; enticing emerald pair! :thumbsup::cool::thumbsup:

Whatever the covers, those GEC 88s seem like superb sowbellies to me! :cool::cool::thumbsup:

Happy Friday folks! Another Bruckmann with me today!!

Pristine pocket jewelry! :thumbsup::cool::cool:

Spot on collection of knives Gary.
Wonderful thoughtfulness and generosity on the part of Ed.
Wonderful, simply wonderful!! I enjoy reading about the generosity of Porch members and it seems that @Modoc ED is often quick with the gift!! If he ever gets rid of his trusty old ‘Patch,’ we’ll know that he’s given up the hobby!!😜🤪
You gentlemen aren't just whistling "Dixie"; I'm thrilled to be the most recent recipient of ED's frequent generosity. :cool::thumbsup::cool:

Awesome old jigged bone and burl wood, Bob! 👌
Thanks Bob :)
I initially was after one of the acrylic 59s, but I'm glad I ended up with this one. GEC did a nice job with the jigging and color.
Yeah, yeah. Another GEC. 😁
I wanna know about that titanium handled SAK.

Kidding aside, nice pair, Mike. Hope the weather is fine down on the Ozark Plateau.

I pulled open the drawer full of cigar boxes, and pulled the two Cases out of my pocket, and realized I didn’t want or need to swap for something else. That often happens with this Trapper.View attachment 2234831
I like to grow cilantro on the back deck right outside of the kitchen. View attachment 2234832
Enjoy your day.
I can see where those two can be mainstays in your pocket Jeff.
Nothing like fresh cilantro!!
