We're supposed to hit 102F todayYeah, yeah. Another GEC.
I wanna know about that titanium handled SAK.
Kidding aside, nice pair, Mike. Hope the weather is fine down on the Ozark Plateau.
Thanks for the details, Mike. I am tempted to fish the bay for some of those titatium scales now, especially if they have the slot for the tweezers and toothpick. That’s the only complaint I have about Alox, because those tweezers get used for pulling out splinters, and raspberry thorns, so I miss them on my Alox Harvester. My black raspberries will be ready for picking in a few days, which means mosquito/tick repellent, and gallons of berries for pies, oatmeal, and the freezer. Thanks, Paul
We're supposed to hit 102F today. Its already up to 82. The hottest day of the year by far. Other than a grocery store run, I intend to stay in the AC today
I fished the no name titanium handles out of the bay. Having a little fun experimenting and spending money
I just installed them last night. I like the feel and looks a lot, but they're a teensy bit thicker than the celidor which makes it hard to get the pick and tweezers out. Fortunately, I don't use those tools very often.
BTW, I can't remember if I already mentioned this, but the fence row cherry tomatoes were interesting![]()
Nice vintage bikes. Thanks for sharingBike meet carry on Monday,at home I mostly carry my Canadian Case sent to me by Dan its sharp and cuts well.
Note the Kawasaki Z6 built by a engineering genius hacksawed the crankcases by hand.
Estimate was 14,000 bikes on a school night from all over the country, thats impressive
The kids tables and chairs at the primary school where the big tough bikers order cups of teas and cup cakes get harder to get out of every year.
Ive been coming to this meet so many decades now the original kids are parents with their own kids.
Old is old cant change it.

This pair is easy on the eyes. Great find on the HSB.
Amazing pair Bob

Looks like a great time. Last time I was in Clemson was the mid 90's. Also the last time I worked at ONS.I’ve been helping at a summer camp my kids are at this week. Tons of fun. It’s at Clemson University (my glorious alma mater…go Tigers).

I pulled open the drawer full of cigar boxes, and pulled the two Cases out of my pocket, and realized I didn’t want or need to swap for something else. That often happens with this Trapper.View attachment 2234831
I like to grow cilantro on the back deck right outside of the kitchen. View attachment 2234832
Enjoy your day.
Going to town soon. Can't make up my mind which to carry - Bunny #525 or Case 6235 1/2 . I'll probably end up carrying both. After all, I've got more than one pocket. No breakfast. Gotta save room for a French Dip at the Brass Rail restaurant.

It sounds like you're being a good neighbor. I'm sure she appreciates it.Thanks for the details, Mike. Got three more fencerow cherry termaters to give away today. Yesterday, I planted three at my daughter’s group garden, two at an old widow’s house. A long time client of my wife, for the last few years, my wife’s asked me to go there and take down blinds that need to go back to Hunter Douglas for restringing, and then re-install them when they’re done. She’s become kind of a friend, but I worry about her living alone. She’s pushing 90, lives alone, but has a lot of friends, and walks two miles every morning at 5:30. But now, I’m concerned she may be slipping a little. Yesterday, she kept saying “Ooh. I can taste them now! How often should I water them?”
I think I have obligated myself to visiting every week or two to see if the plants are still alive.
I gave the last one to a girl who works at the local gas store.
I have three to get rid of, so today I’ll see if that girl wants one more, then my daughter and I will drive the 50 miles to my parents and plant the last two for them.
