What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Eureka and Farmers Jack for Friday :)

Ha! I’ll blame it on hours of flexing my imagination in the world of My Little Pony and legos. But today my 13 yr old girl has a birthday party and she’s inviting girls over just to “lay out” and chill and talk. 🥺😳. Uhhhhhh. That is not a dad zone 😆😆😆
Hope the guys went out and did guy stuff

This old buddy/new buddy pairing is quite nice 👍🏼. Enjoy your day Jack!
Thanks Jon, you too my friend :) :thumbsup:
Nice pairs both of you !
Thank you Steve :) :thumbsup:
A foggy and soggy start to the day in the City by the Bay! My bride tells me it’s now official. We are on baby watch for our second grandchild who is due anytime. As soon as our daughter in law goes into labor we’ll be looking after our grandson. Keeping me company today with a nod to Black and Red Friday is the usual lamb and little Boker. Have a great weekend folks! 😀

Congratulations :) :thumbsup:
When I left my classroom after 34 years, there was no remorse,
that told me it was definitely time for me to depart.
There was no remorse when I left mine after 11! And ditto :D ;) :thumbsup:
Thanks Bob! We know that it’s a girl and they’ve decided that her name will be Lily. 😀
Nice name :) :thumbsup:
Got the Sherman barlow and the K'roo lamb today. Hope everyone is having a good Friday.

Super pair Paul :cool: :thumbsup:
Looking good Alain :) :thumbsup:

Fantastic (and functional) pair for today Jon.
That 88 is certainly a peach of a knife! :cool::cool::thumbsup:

My "internal thermostat" has got to disagree with you about the weather, Bob. ;) I'll take 90˚F temps over temps under 50 any time!
When winter DOES return (much too soon for me), you've got a sunny pair of knives there to crank up the heat! :thumbsup::cool::cool:

ED, I've been spending a few hours each week this summer doing something similar in the office I had at work for the past 37 years. Most of what I discard is paper, journals, books accumulated over 50 years of teaching. The building in which my office is located was built 37 years ago, so I'm the only person that has occupied the office so far, and I'll miss it when I have to get out at the end of this month. Hard to get used to the idea of someone else using "my" office.

I like the length of that knife, Alan, but I wouldn't mind if the handle were a little "taller" (rather than "longer" or "thicker"). :)

Steve, I should post wood as good as you do, and I would if I could! :cool::thumbsup::cool:

Cool photo of the ballpark, Bart! :thumbsup::thumbsup::cool: The players look quite small through the camera lens; do they look bigger to the naked eye while you're watching the game? I was amazed to read later that you got $5 tickets to a MLB game!😲 I watched a July 5, 1974 Cubs-Braves doubleheader from the left field bleachers at Wrigley Field. The bleacher seats cost only a buck but that was 49 years ago!

Notable pair! :cool::thumbsup::thumbsup:

Stunning matched set; congrats! :thumbsup::cool::thumbsup:

Thanks for more amazing photos! :thumbsup:😲:thumbsup: IMHO, even better than your airshow pics.

Tremendous trio! :cool::cool::thumbsup:

Love that Swayback Jack; I don't think I've ever seen a green one! :thumbsup::cool::cool:

Really like the simple Navy knife pattern, although I'm not sure why it appeals to me so much! :cool::thumbsup::cool:
The pie looks great, too. We had 4th of July pie, but it was just a frozen Marie Callender Razzleberry Pie; tastes as good to me as any homemade pie I ever had, and WAY easier to prepare that a home-baked pie.

I didn't mind the nature of farm work, but with cows to be milked twice a day, 7 days a week, no holidays, the "endless" schedule got to me. (Also, from a career choice perspective, I didn't seem able to develop the broad spectrum of skills needed to run a successful dairy operation.)

Thanks for the Sodbuster comparison photo. I know what you're talking about when you say the SBJr is too bluntly rounded at the tip. If I had my choice, I'd probably prefer a drop point blade on that pattern.

Probably excessive explanation for a knife I bought for under $5! 🤓

Looks like there's a Port-a-John by the remodel, so it's nice having that additional option in the neighborhood! 🤓

OK, I give up, Todd; I must not be paying attention. I know your WCLF is a recover, but I can't figure out what the material is. My best guess is some kind of purplish camel bone?? Anyway, it looks fantastic! :thumbsup::thumbsup::cool:

Gorgeous Case pen knife, Steve! :cool::thumbsup::thumbsup:
Is that a 6247?

Two great looking knives for you Paul. What are the covers on your 92?

Wonderful pen slip! I carry mine all the time. sbh06 sbh06 does such a good job with these.

With the patina forming, the cattle knife could easily pass for an early 20th century classic.
He does! And thanks; this is moving up favorites list each time I carry/use it.

Great pair!!

Point taken 🤣. Your cattle knife makes the slip look better and it looks to be a good fit with the knife and pen.
It’s an excellent fit!! The cattle knifes make me look better too 😂

Hope the guys went out and did guy stuff
Ha! I laid back and was the party gopher, running stuff out to the ladies.

Us dudes have a 12&under flag football game tonight. Sam and the rest of the Warriors are up against the Fire Ants. I don’t see why warriors can’t crush some ants. We will redeem ourselves with much testosterone without a doubt!

He does! And thanks; this is moving up favorites list each time I carry/use it.

Great pair!!
