Looks like Sheffield has a team. Pretty great name, too. 😎

Thanks Barrett, I figured there'd be a few teams here :) Though I'm not convinced the experience would compare :D 'Rounders' is a game that almost all people here are familiar with, if only from their school days
Rounders is a bat-and-ball game played between two teams. Rounders is a striking and fielding team game that involves hitting a small, hard, leather-cased ball with a wooden, plastic, or metal bat that has a rounded end. The players score by running around the four bases on the field.

Played in England since Tudor times, it is referenced in 1744 in the children's book A Little Pretty Pocket-Book where it was called base-ball.

I had my stag HHB and my Burlap Micarta #72 (not pictured) with me today.

John it did take quite a journey and as I recall the timing was perfect! 😀
Yes Bud and because you sent it to me it means a lot, I always imagine this was something like your journey to the post office.
Great music to drive to.

I wish I was cool as Martin Sheen,I think I will watch this episode later and get some tips... 😆

Some nice bottles there. I haven’t had the EH Taylor Single Barrel, but I’ve got a bottle of the Small Batch and it’s pretty good stuff.

I like the red accents on your K’roo, Paul.

Glad to see you’ve been using that #25, Alain. 🙂

Handy setup you’ve got there, and that Coke bottle opener is cool!

Nice photos Jeff 😎👍
That’s not the first time you’ve complimented one of my “Knives on Grandma’s Iron Plant Stand” photos, Jack! I appreciate the encouragement. 😊

There’s too much shade to put flower pots on it and try to grow something.
About thirty years ago, I dug some Norway Maple seedlings out of the ditch at the In-Law’s Wisconsin lake house before he mowed them down. I planted them on the other side of our house by my shed and the creek ~6EB12CDB-AE3E-4735-96C0-F8E9A4C3839C.jpeg
Maples being maples, they do their thing and sow their seeds promiscuously, and there are now four Norway Maple trees around our back deck that not only provide shade, and look nice, they make good bird feeder hanging places. It’s nice sitting out there. I have three feeders full of sunflower seeds, two suet feeders for the woodpeckers, and an old feeder Grandad made on a post that wrens use for nesting. The place is full if birds, and me sitting thrre drinking coffee or shucking beans, or tying up garlic doesn’t bother them, so they come quite close.

I know that someday in the future, whoever lives here is going to have to remove these trees since heavy trees limbs overhanging your roof is asking for trouble. But that is something I’m not going to worry about.😎

To stay on topic, here’s a knife pic with that plant stand in the shady background.B1D48401-74CB-4EC0-80A9-53F0A8FB6A71.jpeg
