I think its great! 👍👍👍
Looks like a traditional Candian Belt knife. I used the Cold Steel version this morning.

Thanks much, Mike! I did not have a CBK to model, but confess I was going for that handle shape, the offset, and the elliptical blade shape.

Camoflage handle. (Does it work?)
It must. Don’t see a thing.
Nice. I have the Picniker, which is on the same frame. I like the US.
Thank you Jeff and I agree with you about the old files vs. new. I really like your old custom file blade knife.😊
Thanks, Buddy. I appreciate that😉

That's amazing, I grew up in Camdenton (debatable, the first part). Don't think I remember a Jack's but I'll ask my Mom. All my fishing rods came from somewhere in Camdenton though not sure where Grandpa picked them up for me. About to get them out for the first time in a decade or more as the kid is asking to go fishing. Hope I remember how to not catch anything...

Oh no thank you Jeff, but it would look poorly if I made it, not at all like your Canadian style that boomeranged home. Mine's a custom request from Paul Lackey, he later made a few changes and offers it as his "SOB" model. It's a fantastic whittler and garden knife, also the smallest handle I can get four fingers in the hammer grip on comfortably at 3.25" I did sawyer the Osage for the handles fwtw, and have more if you'd ever like some in your mailbox? It's as stable as Ironwood, as far I can tell, never seen it move.

Here's my ridiculously over-prepared Ti Thursday carry.

Until they built the big WalMart up on 54, Jacks was it.
I loved that place. Fishing tackle, guns, archery tackle, awesome mounts on the walls, live minnows, and all the news about what was hitting and where.

I would love a little piece of Osage Orange, thank you! I sent you my address!😊

Camoflage handle. (Does it work?)
Be careful you don't drop it Vince! ;)
That sounds pretty deranged Jack, I picture you just wandering the streets of Leeds, fingering the knives in your pockets and possibly salivating whilst searching for cake to cut 🤣 Hope you found some?
Have you hacked into the Leeds CCTV feed?!! 🤣

Getting a light rain. We’ll gladly accept. The sun is breaking through in the east, and this is looking west.C9455744-6846-49C3-AC52-941007DCE0BE.jpeg
In a camp chair under my sugar maple, which blocks the rain. Mostly.
Same knives, new photos. Unusual for a compulsive daily knife swapper. Boring?316D6A8E-6ACB-490D-8E3C-04DBB9A08932.jpeg

My friend at the farm, the one who gave this knife back, just texted that they have cauliflower ready to harvest if I want some, so I’ll go get a few heads. I did not grow any this year. I like to put a whole head in the dutch oven with a handful of garlic cloves in the oven for a couple of hours.

Have a Fine Friday!
