Here's some quotes left over from the middle of last week, I think.
Really enjoying the photos lately, mother nature and knives, nothing wrong with that.
A bit of a heatwave here, so outside early in the garden and mowing some lawn.
Harry, my roses have been cursed with beetles too.
Good health to everyone.

Couple of stunners, Bob; really like the shield and blade shape on that Jennings!

Stellar stag pair! My favorite is the round-bolstered one!

Well done Gary. Poet emeritus of the forum

Nice canoes too.
Thanks, Bob & Jeff.
These 2 champions today. Both USA made, just a little over 100 years apart.

Champs, indeed! I'll vote for the 2-blade jack!

I must find the slimline thread.

I thought public pools were a thing of the distant past. Glad to see some are still open.
I'm really not a full-sized trapper fan, and I tend to prefer knives with more than one blade, and clip blades are not even close to my favorite blade shape. Despite all of that, I LOVE the Case slimline trapper!

Ok, those both deserve a rimshot
...
Thanks for your musical support, Mike!

I like the horn on your Buck!

I have a RR pen knife with finger grooves like that in buffalo horn.
Thanks Gary....funny, I went from teaching to an iron worker at my friend's business for 3 years. I'm not a person that finds an idle life enjoyable.
That's quite a career change, Bob!
Hopefully, he's just busy fishing
The last time Mr P went fishing, he was gone for 5 years!

Two princely Canoes Gary

...
That's my recollection, too, Jack.
Primble
took some time off to catch some fish, and instead, the fish apparently caught him!

Thanks for the monarchical compliment for my canoes.
Amoebas.
No, cat tracks!
No, cat eyes!
Wait...turtles, yeah turtles

Its harder than it looks
Mr.P is a trained professional, do not try this at home!
Mike & Bob, you guys are more entertaining than the television!

Yes, it is an automatic. She knew I’d want it when she saw the candy stripe celluloid handle wrapping, and she knows I have a soft spot for Imperial/Hammer Brand anyway.
Thanks for the confirmation; really cool finds she brought back for you!

I am flying to Bradford, PA tomorrow and will have a chance to tour the Case factory. I am going to tote one of these, probably the Texas Jack.
Hope you had a safe and enjoyable trip, LT; that's a quality quartet of Cases you posted!

Shew. Done for the day. Wednesday’s knife companions were…

Those Case sawcut Barlows from a few years ago are splendid knives!

I bought one at a hardware store that was also a Case Master Dealer in Mackinaw City MI; I think it's the only Case I've purchased in a brick-and-mortar store.

Got this Klaas 4" closed stag whittler out for this evening and to carry tomorrow. Hummingbirds have been visiting the wife flowers this past week but I've been unable to capture a pic with my cellphone camera. Tiny little buggers and hard to approach.

Always a treat to see that stag whittler, Greg!

Thanks for the info, JJ!

A couple of shadows today.
Bone bonanza on your pair of shadow patterns!

In my dafter moments, I think about running with the bulls in Pamplona.
Running with the bulls in Pamplona seems ill-advised, Vince, but running with the bull on the blade of your Laguiole seems illustrious!

...
Well that doesn’t sound very enjoyable. I think all the “new” stadiums are designed to make the fan experience better.
Thanks Gary.
How will I know if it needs more paint if I don’t try it out?
Exactly!

I see you posting pics of the Beer Scout occasionally, and I had to get mine out. I've carried a pocket knife since I was a little kid, (60-some years), but the Beer Scout was my first GEC.
