Another foggy start to the day in the City by the Bay! Just got back from my weekly pilgrimage to the grocery store. Along for the ride my newest lamb and little SAK which I had to replace the pen yesterday after over ten years of use. Giants play later today and that’s pretty much all I have on today’s schedule. Have a great Saturday folks! 😀

Beautiful fixed-blade. And I don't think I've commented before, but you have excellent taste in revolvers as well.
Thank you! This revolver is the first I ever bought and it started my love for Smith revolvers. It is a 4” 686-4.

It has been another great day in the woods. I finally harvested this cauliflower mushroom today to make some soup tonight.

All cleaned up, with a few red cinnabar chanterelles we found too.

Haven’t seen any of these guys yet today, but a couple bear pics from last weekend.

A while ago, I pulled all of the weeds out of the gravel around the walk by the garage leading to the front door. Mostly clover, with a couple of thistles, and a wild black raspberry that I presume was a gift from birds sitting on the bushes, and expelling the seeds after eating berries.
While marveling at the relentless ability of weeds to grow anywhere and everywhere, I remembered that the seed packet on my basil seeds said they grow well in sandy/gravelly soil. They were right.View attachment 2284191View attachment 2284192
