What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Jeremy, when the TSA starts confiscating pocket knives out of checked luggage is when I stop flying. Hopefully that will never happen but then again I never thought I’d have to take off my shoes either. 😡
When we flew from O’Hare to Edinburgh, we found a note saying our bag had been opened and inspected. 🧐
My knives were still there, but my wife’s underwear had been fondled.😏
I needed to attack some cardboard today. :)
Well, re-sharpening a knife is fun…
That’s a nice shape on your fixed blade🤙
Thanks buddy, it was a kind gift from @r8shell a few years back :)
She’s a stellar Porchista for sure. After Jason, my son died, she sent me a gorgeous Shrade 881Y to match my old Trapper.
One of many porch friends I’ve never been able to meet face to face. If I ever get down to Texas…
That is a nice knife. If you’ve ever had your hand slip forward on a push cut (like I have), you’d appreciate that guard~choil?.
Your garden must be a 9-5 job Jeff. Seems I always have a salad after your posts. Beautiful, and always tended with some great old knives.👍🏻
It could be if I let it!😁 Doing some late/2nd plantings of things like lettuce (eat that salad young man!), and garlic goes in this month, but I make time for other things. I’ve just started building another guitar…

Add a swayback handle, and it would be a twin to my KA-BAR I’m totin today. It’s nice to have a useful sized pen blade.

Black ones today~ Case from bigfish64 bigfish64 -thanks again, Todd. And KA-BAR Whaler.624C3C36-D768-4E9C-B2DF-40770BBEF5B4.jpeg27B2AD18-70FF-4D1E-915C-3A3B353F6367.jpeg
I always carry a little one in my guitar pick pocket, and it’s the Peanut’s turn for now. This is my only pre-‘70 Case Redbone, and it always reminds me of Greg Leslie Tomville Leslie Tomville ’s awesome Redbones!

There are even bigger ones out there, but 2.7 pounds aint bad😃426C0606-7176-448F-AEDA-05651F31462B.jpeg It’s a variation/mutation of Cherokee Purple, and for the last two years, Vik and I agreed it was #1 for best tasting. Just right acidity, with complex overtones.
See? i could be a wine expert if I drank wine.

Had a good trip to Klamath Falls, Oregon yesterday. Cindy got her bone density scan and then it was off to Staples for a new desk/office chair and then on to Applebee's for lunch followed by a stop at McDonald's for six cheeseburgers to bring home. Suppose to paint today and tomorrow but it's raining this morning with more scheduled for tomorrow so, I'll have to reschedule with the nephews. I've got Bunny #525 in my pocket along with this Buck 501 in a belt sheath today.

That's a big tomato 🤩

A friend of mine recently gave me a couple of Cherokee Purples. I found them a little on the soft side for my preference, but agree that the taste was excellent :thumbsup::thumbsup:

I occasionally will drink wine. I've long maintained that the label writers are failed romance novelists ;)

Nice pair to start the month !
Thanks buddy :)

Good grief! Might have been revenge for Mel Gibson's accent in Braveheart!;)

Definitely Jeff :) That's a nice gesture

I thought that was a pumpkin!  :)

After watching The rather delectable Detective Lolita in a new crime series I discovered last night I decided to make an Italian inspired breakfast. 😁

Good quality filter coffee, genuine cannoli from Sicily and my penknife from Sardinia (yes a mix up).

OK I except a lot of Italians just have an expresso and a ciggy to start the day but this is my take on breakfast.🤭

Ive got to say I love her little 500cc car its as cool as a freezer.😅

Every episode so far has started with bits of her underwear falling of the washing line and her nosey neighbour downstairs handing them back to her then judging her morals as she leaves for work.😇

I love the Italian humour as much as I can understand the subtitles.

The fog is thick today here in the City the City by the Bay! Hope everyone has a wonderful holiday weekend! Keeping me company will be the the usual lamb and SAK. 😀

Seeing that fog reminds me of when I lived in Portland, Maine some years ago. There were many days when the fog would roll in thick off Casco Bay. Not exactly tropical temperatures, either. 😂
