I have a 62 in Unicorn and it feels smooth. I really like it visually. Very classy looking to me
I agree with you on the patina and the Bladeforums option. Not to hijack your question for Jiki, but I do believe it is textured because it’s called Texcrylic.
What’s your impression of your #34?
I like it, nice and thin in the pocket yet not too small in the hand. I just made a bowl of chicken salad with it for dinner. Slicing an apple, chopping some nuts, and dicing up the chicken- no sweat. In this configuration it will probably be a secondary carry for me complementing another knife. Now if Mr Howard would like to make a full congress or a whittler on this frame? That could be something.
Yeah I thought about a whittler too.I like it, nice and thin in the pocket yet not too small in the hand. I just made a bowl of chicken salad with it for dinner. Will Power the texture feels like a pocket worn jigging. This approach feels appropriate, sharp edged platic could be bad.
Place two fingers on the screen, and slide them apart to zoom in on the photo…
I know you were not addressing me, Will, but I will interject to say that I have three out of the pictured seven. And one of the three is very hard for me to put away. But I won’t divulge which one that is.Fine examples, does one appeal most to you?
Thanks, Will
I have always thought those Anvils, with their distinctive scales were great looking knives.
Burlap and brass strikes again!!Added a new lanyard and bead to the 47 to try out. The bead was a generous gift from @ephsea - an add on to our 44 deal. Thanks again! I’m liking it with the @sbh06 slip - that is developing a mighty fine patina IMO.

Thanks Jeff. Those wide covers on the Anvil sure feel good in hand for those of us with old hands that arent as flexible as they once were.I have always thought those Anvils, with their distinctive scales were great looking knives.![]()
Putting a new one into rotation today. A David Taber (DrT) Rabbit with E ivory. Picked up three of these recently (one being a lock back) and thought one at least needed to be carried. LOL. Using a slip by Sarah at Soulboundleather to keep it protected in the pocket. I like this combo alot.
