What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Sorry to hear about your disappointment. We have all suffered for the newer creations. The blade edges are uneven, pull is too strong and off center.
All are a reason to go with people like Waynorth, etc. ( though they are getting pricy).
Titusville is a good one and reasonably priced.
I'm going to tinker with this thing a bit. If I can get the action smoothed out, I think it'll be "good enough". 👍

Dont let the photos fool you,my life is mundane.🥲

Sunny/warm day at the end of summer means I have to go out (its the law). 😁

"suns out=I'm out" is my moto.

Small breakfast at the biker cafe and 4 old timer bikes that I really like.

Then I went and joined the National Trust £7 a month is equal to 2 coffees so sounds like good value to me.

All property's like stately homes, gardens and grounds around the country are now free for me to enter and explore this winter.

The knife needs no introduction its one of the best in every way.

That tree lined road looks right out of a fairy tale!

It's my first one! Had to see what all the hype was about. It's an IXL George W... supposedly "vintage", but I'm not sure about that. 🤔 I see why folks like the design, but it's BY FAR the worst knife own.👎🏻

I'm a bit disappointed.
Hey Bandaid, that's a pretty ixl. I haven't had one, but have purchased two Wrights now. The first one needed quite a bit of work to break it in, but it has become my favorite knife.

You may find this section of the guardians helpful. Look at the braking in section. It really helped with mine.

Have a good one!

Carrying these 2 today : 2019 Blade Forums and SCHATT & MORGAN Barlow with 1095 Blade and Winterbottom Bone covers which is the first NEW barlow that I ever bought . Had some old barlows but no new ones back in 2014 or very early 2015 . Had to look high and low for a Case then but no luck and could not land a GEC then . The Schatt is a good example of what the Quality Level of the Queens were back then . Within a couple of years they changed a lot . Blade is centered & etc. Always carried it in a slip . The BF Knife though is a whole other animal . It may not be a Perfect Knife but it a very nice work knife & perfect enough for me .

"Ynot" ... the name of a night club I managed in Wichita, back indi day ... such 🥺☹️ memories ...

Example:

The bartender's GF took a large swig from her bottle of Bud Lite.
She exclaimed: "ARGHHHH!!!! MY LIPS ARE BURNING!!!" 🤯😳😳

He had (unbeknownst to her) rubbed a slice of Jalapeno Pepper on it. 🤣🤣🤣🤣

(It was a slow night.🙄)
