This was my first collaboration with Ken and still one of my favorite knives on a variety of levels. Everything you need and want in a knife...and nothing you don't.

I´ve changed my EDC for today... Charlow (gifted by Charlie) and Buck 112 gifted by Duane

My Dad just came over and gave me Böker Sportsknife of the 2009 special series which was limited to 1869 (the founding year of Böker)

Just some pics of this really collectable knife. It has chestnut wood handles and an unique shield... perfect F&F ... just a great gift from my Dad

... it will have to open a couple of beer bottles this evening/night. :D

Great looking Böker, Andi. They came out with a new knife every month for the 140th anniversary. That one is January, with 1869(like you indicated) being made and only 140 of each of the other months knives were made. I am really looking forward to seeing what Böker does for their 150th anniversary.

Watch that kind of talk, pal! :p

Good old Dad! Great-looking knife Andi, sounds like you're having a good day :)

Happy Birthday Andi! That Boker is a really nice looking knife! Your dad has good taste in cutlery:thumbup:

What a tremendous gift, Andi. Wowzer.

With that knife, you'll be able to do a bit of everything, every night! Happy birthday, again. :)

Thanks for the additional information, Kris. Very interesting.

Andi, I just had an inkling you'd be receiving something pointy today. I'm pleased that its such a special knife, from home too.

It's a real corker.....and capper obviously!
Try not to wear it out this evening!! ;)
