Now that is THE combo to have, very nice Gary :)

Thanks Jeff. I don't carry the Eldon Talley City Knife as often as I should. It's a real handy blade and impeccably made.

That's a fine looking Northfield you're carrying today.

My horn covered Victoria rides along for the day.

No coon-fingering, but lots of chicken-eyeing going on :D

Ill take them two off your hands anytime ;)

This big frame is very comfortable to use. When I was in between stone shops I went back to general remodeling and the 53 was king. So comfortable to use I did not carry a utility knife and still dont. Sure I have one in my bag but ever since I received the 53 I think I have put 2 blades in my razor knife since. The 53 would last a full week between sharpening's no problem. I would use blades against tile to cut foam and rarely did it snag and the main blade stayed razor sharp for anything needing it. I am still debating on the forest jack well that and the T.K. Cuban. Something a little slimmer when I am not remodeling sounds like a great knife and the single spring knives have my attention at the moment.

If I were going to pick up another 53/54, it would definitely either be another Northwoods or a TK Cuban. I'll probably get the TK Cuban because I like variety, but when I find something I really like which I consider a keeper, I usually like to get at least two (one for back up).

My Vom Cleff had been feeling ignored lately so I put it in my left pocket while the 804 rides in the right.
