What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Easy choice today. We’re having our neighborhood brewfest. I made beer, my wife is making pretzels, and I’ll grill some sausages from the butcher shop around the corner.

Great to have you back. Excellent picture and wonderful pair my friend.
Thank you kindly, Paul. I hope we can all meet up again at next years badger blade show. Meeting all of you fellas in person made for a fun and enjoyable day. :)

Great to have you back Greg, wonderful pics
Thanks, Jack. Ive been peeking in on the forum from time to time but not daily. Been pocketing a knife or two every day in that time span though. 👍
Hope life is treating you well, my friend. Nice pairing you chose, that stag forum knife always impresses me.

That sounds like so much fun, have a great time Bart! 😎👍
Carried the oldest knife I own today, Bayonne Knife Company 1888-1910. Jigged bone handles, snap and function all intact. It's such a solid knife that I can't help but to carry and use it from time to time. It's survived a long time and I don't see it ever breaking down before I do.;)

Good evening Porchsters,

Tricky day today, this morning I had forgotten it was the wife's birthday,

All was not lost as we found a nice farm shop with home reared beef and some lovely baked goods, this was one of the nicest Pork Pies I have had for a while, and I consider myself a connoisseur.

We ended up a short drive away in a seaside town by the name of Southport and called the a pub for a pint. Imagine my joy when a beer festival was taking place with brews from all over the country, one in particular caught my eye as its a favourite and I always imbibe when available. Today, however, this had a special meaning and I toasted my good mate Rufus1949 Rufus1949 and wished him good health and a speedy recovery! A legend of a man.
