Great shots, JeremyThanks Bart, and I agree. It doesn’t hurt my feelings when I get asked to go out there. We did get a little free time on the last full day there and took that time to go out and visit the Cabrillo National Monument over in Point Loma. What an amazing place! If you’ll indulge me, here are a few pictures I took of the area.

Agreed, Jeff. I always have good thoughts when I carry a knife that was gifted to me.
The TK-1 is a keeper for sure. I’m finding it very handy to carry a small fixed blade that fits in my pocket. For me it’s all about having the right way to carry it.Glad to hear you're getting about now Bob. Pain not *too* bad, I hope? Best wishes for you being 100% again soon.
Very nice sheath Bart! So the Tk-I is definitely a keeper? Glad you've come over to the fixed side - I do most tasks with a sheath knife, simply because it's quicker to draw and requires less fuss. I use the slipjoints *because* they require fuss.
Can't wait to see you on hoarders Jeff. Maybe they'll do a midwest episode? KC decided to preemptively remove ALL ash trees from city property a few years back, about a thousand of them. The slaughter was heartbreaking, especially since I had no way to hoard any of it in my 2k sq ft basement (with almost no room left for aisles). The Ash borers are quite the blight
Love the walking stick Harry, kudos on a job well done!

What a beautiful barlow Mr.P and an exceptional pruner.![]()
I gotta agree with what Bob commented above, beautiful Barlow and the pruner such warm and charming character in the wood, bolsters and blade.![]()
Ruggedly handsome pair of knives Mr P.
Thanks for another look at that Russell Hawkbill, Mr.P!
The India Steel Works stamp was used from 1890 to 1940.
Two exquisite examples Mr.P.
Thanks, Jack, it's our most used paring knife in the kitchen, and my wife doesn't seem to understand carbon steel. She leaves it in all manner of damp or even wet conditions. But it still holds up.That looks useful Jeff![]()
