Is that the Sodbuster Jr. size?Good Morning Porchsters,
I bought this a while ago, cant remember if it was when Rough Ryder fist came out or if it was because I like the sodbuster pattern, Blade spring doesnt work and you have to shove it across and then there is more blade play/waggle room than the proverbial wizards sleeve. I have consigned it to spreading butter and cutting toasted sandwiches.

Thanks for the details, my friend. Not surprised that it’s high quality considetingIt is one of the Texas Camp Knife models, 981416. A huge knife, with a 4" main blade, sheepsfoot secondary blade, a punch and a can/bottle opener. The fit and action of the blades is incredible. This is one of Charlie Campagna's SFO from the 98 run, in Antique Yellow Jigged Bone. It took me a while to locate one, but I am very glad to finally have one to use. I had heard the Fit and Finish on these was excellent, but it really exceeded my expectations. Blades fit together perfectly with no rub, and the pull of each blade is just right. Amazing quality work from GEC.

Maybe a silver Roosevelt dime?View attachment 2370274
Most excellent Boker and the soupy large lambsfoot.
I'm going to have to turn something to fill that hole from the missing shield. I tried maple the other day but it didn't look right. Maybe nickel or Delrin.
I assume that the 38 Grinling from 2015 is the one you were telling me about !! ??? It is a fine looking knife . Nice pair for the pockets .
Good looking Puukko ??? Jose and that Sheath looks to be very well made . Who is the maker ??

Looks like ether would do the job.
Looking at it in the wide angle shot, if you cleared the brush/weeds from under it, the broken section as-is would make a dandy ridge pole for a shelter ...![]()
Bought one of these a little while ago and it needed a little TLC that I felt like I couldn't handle personally so I sent it off to be fixed. In the meantime I got restless and bought another one, this one. I hope everyone has a great weekend!

I think it's bone. There seem to be pores on the beveled ends. What’s the scale material? For a while, they were using bone…
