Primble Primble presents processions of phenomenal photos of purtnear perfect pocketknives! :thumbsup::cool::cool::thumbsup:

We ended up a short drive away in a seaside town by the name of Southport and called the a pub for a pint. Imagine my joy when a beer festival was taking place with brews from all over the country, one in particular caught my eye as its a favourite and I always imbibe when available. Today, however, this had a special meaning and I toasted my good mate Rufus1949 Rufus1949 and wished him good health and a speedy recovery! A legend of a man.

😁:thumbsup:😁 Wobbly Bob, that's a good one!

Doing well , thanks.👍🏻 First walk today.
Great to hear, Bob! I follow in your hipsteps tomorrow... 😲 :D
Bob & Jim, I hope you have swift and successful hip rehabs. :thumbsup::thumbsup:
I suppose your PT will eventually require some moves like this:

I took the twin sisters out today, as you can they are not identical twins. 😁
...

...
John, I suppose many of us have dreamed about taking out twin sisters, and I admire you for actually living the dream! :thumbsup:🤓:thumbsup:

Incredible red stag lockback, LT! :thumbsup::thumbsup::cool:

Unforgettable nail nick, José! :cool::thumbsup::thumbsup:

That canittler is a champ! :cool::cool::thumbsup:

I keep the infernal spell-check and auto-fill disbled as my way of exercising my aging brain. Some people do crossword puzzles, @5KQs does calculus in his head, I try to spell.
Jeff, I agree that brain exercise is important, but I haven't done calculus problems in my head for a long time. (I do occasionally, while walking somewhere, think about how I might set up a certain problem so that Wolfram Alpha can carry out the calculus procedures for me when I get access to a computer.) My mental exercise usually consists of daily Wordle, a couple of Ken-Ken puzzles, a game or two of Scrabble Express, and singing old hymns and rock songs (I'm always amazed at how well I remember song lyrics). Oh, and I'm always do mental conversions of step counts to mileage during my daily walks.

Have a wonderful week porch peeps!

Slowly narrowing down long-term keepers. This week's bevy of slicers.

The Magnificent Seven! :cool::thumbsup:🤓

Probably the same here Gary! :D

Yes, a few of the regular bad lads looked distinctly uncomfortable when I was waving it about! 🤣 :thumbsup:
😁:thumbsup::cool:

Yes, it is the typical scaling blade with the hook remover end and cap lifter. I should have opened it also for the pic
Thanks for the info! :thumbsup::thumbsup::)

Thanks kindly Gary. My wheels are still a bit wobbly, but feel a bit more human. I have freedom from nurse Kratchet now

Let this be my testimony:
There be some fine folks on this porch.

I found a little box in my mailbox yesterday, when all I was expecting was bills, reminders to vote, and bad IRA quarterly reports. 34893320-B8C5-4304-BB83-7E53F9AB30E3.jpeg
Jakeywax31 Jakeywax31 sent this little token of friendship. Not “a” knife. THREE nice knives. Really appreciate it, Paul ~ gonna enjoy having and using these.
Totin two of them today ~ a Queen Country Cousin in amazingly smooth and comfy black delrin. Perfectly centered, and just a really well made little working knife!
The other is my second Schrade 175. And it has a Desert Storm commemorative handle, which again reminds me of my son. I agree, Paul ~ it must be kind of rare, because I’ve never seen one like it. Although he served in Operation Enduring Freedom, it was all part of the same war.
This knife appears factory fresh, so as I use it, I’ll take good care of it.A9594867-847B-4E42-8A2F-90E803E1E864.jpegE7950324-1ABE-48C6-B73E-A7074A9E399C.jpeg7EA0CC20-E64D-4851-8A61-BCC9FADF5E77.jpeg
The end of season tomatoes don’t look too appetizing, unless you’re a fruit fly!
After I dismantled and took out the old upright piano, it left an empty place which Vik filled with an antique walnut sideboard. She’s already fhinking about hosting Thanksgiving dinner, which means I get chores.
And I waited til she left to dump my pockets on it…AA34D6E0-E4A1-4D9B-89FE-D85F84AC6818.jpeg
Do not tell her I posed a guitar on it, ok?

Thanks a million, for the great knives, Paul!!!

Nice pair !

Staying home today. Only thing to shovel today is sunshine but snow is being called for for next Wednesday. When we were over in Lakeview, Oregon Thursday, we stopped in the Safeway grocery store and stocked up on Jimmy Dean Sausage - patties, links, and large rolls so, I'm set for Sausage and eggs or pancakes, or waffles for some time to come. Today's primary carry.
