What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Two exquisite examples Mr.P.👌
I don't think I have ever seen any better than that pair.👍🏻

Thank you Mr. R. ................... I really admired the covers on your Lloyd today.:thumbsup::thumbsup:😊
A couple of beauties !

Thank you my friend .............. I really liked your Challenge that you toted today. 😊

Hello Primble,

Two beauties there, what are "catts"?
The maker?

Don't know if you saw Jeff's post, but, yes Catt is short for Cattaraugus Cutlery Co., Little valley, NY. Thank you for the compliment.😊

Awesome pair of Catts!

Thank you my friend.😊

Gorgeous, R.
Making me think about Shoulda Coulda Woulda. Late ‘50s, early ‘60s Fender and Gibson guitars were a dime a dozen in pawnshops when I started playing, and now they’re “Holy Grails” that bring huge collector money. Same with Cattaraugus knives. If only I’d have known. Of course I had no money then either…🥴

Thank you Jeff .................. got a good laugh out of me about the money back then.🤣🤣🤣

Beautiful Mr P :)

Friday.
Barely made it to the weekend. These certainly helped.
Awesome lineup FC. 👍
Finding a good sheath is harder than finding a good fixed blade, in my experience. Yours came out great! I need to learn to make my own.
Thanks FC. That’s the second one I’ve made like that and I have it dialed in so it’s just how I want it function wise, I’m not there yet on the finish details.

A wonderful memory Jeff. Thanks for sharing!

Stunning duo Jeremy!

Man…that’s one of the nicest Lloyd’s I’ve ever seen 🤯.

That old Spey has some great soul!

I’ve been saying
APPLE BUTTER BOIL
APPLE BUTTLE BOIL
APPLE BUTTER BOIL
…over and over, faster and faster. My kids think I’m insane. 😂
Looks like a nice piece of walnut furniture there, Jon.
Kids can be… insightful.🫢
So very, very sorry to read about your son Jeff, any parents worst nightmare. 😢
Thanks, Wayne. Nice of you to say so.

#87 & #77 Going to our annual church apple butter boil this evening. We have a little over forty bushels of stamen apples. Hopefully tomorrow afternoon we’ll finish up with over fifty gallons of apple butter.

That’s 400 pints. All pre-sold, and presumably eaten right away?
Or are you and your fellow churchsters canning it all as well? That’s a lot of work!

The ole' burgundy Schrade today...

Yeah, that mod turned out very well. I see a pin. Didi it originally have a Swinden Key?
Real nice grain on your ironwood, but there’s something swirling around in your black coffee!😱

Gud-Murnin! Great question. As far as I know, it's in its original form other than the micarta covers, and polished blade with a re-angled edge. I'm thinking about having a couple more Schrades redone. I really, really like this one.👍🏻 Hope all is well, buddy!!
