There was a selection of brooches. That's a pretty thing. Is it a Christmas ornament, or just itself?
Lots of good poems came out of that war, though a lot of good poets didn't.

I took my bike of the road today for the winter.John say it ain’t so! You’ve become a Cage Monkey…Oh the horror and on Halloween! All kidding aside I hope you are well or at least getting better!
There was some tasty treats on sale but also a lot of corny stuff, thats what Christmas is nowadaysSounds like an eventful day! You got some good pics. I like the one of the memorial & I wouldn't be able to pull my wife away from that Christmas section!I hope you are doing better now that you are out of the hospital.
I listen to Little Stevens podcast a lot in the car,I was today he plays some great stuff..I hope you are on the mend and congrats on the car.
I thought I heard some strange music.![]()
John I am fortunate to live in Motorcycle Meca where I can ride all year round. When it rains I just put on the rain suit and go.I took my bike of the road today for the winter.
The roads are covered in wet leaves and farmers sludge so a car it has to be.
I was trying to find one with a sun roof to no avail.![]()
He does have an interesting podcast.I listen to Little Stevens podcast a lot in the car,I was today he plays some great stuff..
Those sure are pretty!! First time I've seen the trapper. Wow!! The tribal lock is sweet too!! I've noticed the Whisky Bone seems to get even better looking as they age/wear. Good stuff!I love that trapper. I only have the tribal lock in that series but I wish I would have got a full size trapper
Thanks Todd.Glad you had a great time Bart.![]()

The Waynorth lamb looks well-loved John.
Looks like a handy sheath for a lovely knife.View attachment 2374686
Received a new sheath for the Fall Creek from @Sharp & Fiery . Fits great and the craftsmanship is excellent. This style sheath makes carrying the Fall Creek in a front pocket very easy and convenient. Thanks again, Coleman.

Hopelessly behind again, but I tried. Here's some shanks from the last few days.Rufus1949 (Hi Bob
) thinks I've finally found a few favorite belt knives, but the truth is that I blew my pants budget on knives, cruising into winter with just 3 pair of jeans now and the belt loops don't work with 2/3rds of my sheaths. The wife noticed this and made some remarks, I had no retort for once. Guilty as charged
I'm always really impressed with your handmade bows and arrows! May I hit you up for advice on making staves someday, in exchange for pick of the litter? A few of my parent's Osage Oranges are looking pretty sick, and I've been gunning for that lumber for years.
Great stag on that one, Jon.Viper and the craggy lamb on a Tuesday. Weather schizophrenia upcoming for South Carolina. High in the 60s, lows below freezing. Very typical.

#97 today. Here are some pictures of the apple butter boiling. The cooking and canning process took about 20 hours. We used 40 bushels of stamen apples, 60 lbs of granulated cane sugar, clove oil and cinnamon oil; the yield was 108 quarts and 200 pints totaling 52 gallons of apple butter. Everything was donated by the church family leaving a profit of $2588. It’s a whole lot of work but a very rewarding process. Just keeping the old ways alive is worth it. I’ll post pictures of the finished product tomorrow.

Roughly my age (1940s), this knife looks a bit better than I do, but we get along fine; it's in my pocket today!!! Case XX big Jack - 6231 1/2 - genuine Redbone - 3 3/4" of Snappy walk and talk!!
Just worn and patina-ed enough to be used and carried without devaluing it!! Love it!!View attachment 2373130View attachment 2373132
