What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

I better put my brain in neutral, seems to be malfunctioning.😃
I think your brain is fine, Bob; my communication skills are less than ideal.
I originally wondered if your Queen barlow had the covered spring, since it had a bolster shape that was used on those covered spring models, but I couldn't really tell since I couldn't see the back of your knife in the photo you originally posted early last week. But once you showed me the back of yours this afternoon, I could see that yours did not have a covered spring. But then I felt obligated to show an example of what I meant by a covered spring model, and remembered that I had seen one posted recently. So I found it and posted it.

Yes. Or it used to be. Hong Kong was a British colony or something till a few decades ago. I don't hear as much about them as I do about Taiwan, maybe because Hong Kong has reverted and Taiwan wants to remain an independent country. [This is geography, not politics.]
Thanks for the info. I vaguely recall the UK transferring Hong Kong back to China, and not everything has gone well for Hong Kong since then. But specific to Sabre knives, you have one with a China stamp of some kind, rather than the Hong Kong stamp mine has, right?

As long as I'm posting, here are a couple of knives I'm carrying this week.

Toting a new addition today. Pulled the trigger on an ebony Case/Bose Eureka Jack! Been wanting one for awhile & decided it's now or never!View attachment 2380651
Well you certainly made the right choice; that’s a beauty!

Quite a pair Jon. Love the blade shape on the K’roo gunstock.

Been super busy. My high school football team I coach is in the playoffs we won our 1st round matchup! Enjoying Sunday! Cheers!

Awesome Taylor, congrats! You’d better keep us posted now 🏈🏈

Great start Todd... That's a wonderful Trio of pocket cutlery. 🤠

I don't see how you can improve on that Todd. Very nice.👌
Thanks guys! 😎👍
Great looking pair Paul. 😎👍
Couple of superb Barlows, Todd!:thumbsup::thumbsup: I must have missed it; when did you switch to a monthly carry schedule?
Thanks Gary. I just started last month. Carried the coffin jack and lamb for October, and enjoyed not having to think about it every morning so I’d thought I’d try it again this month.
I'll bet that photo could have sold a lot of those turtles for your school here on The Porch, Todd! 😁:thumbsup:

That would’ve been a great idea! 😄👍

Awesome pair for any activity
Thanks so much! I used the 113 so much, the trapper didn’t even come out of my pocket. Really good belt knife.

Thanks Jeremy, I love it. I feel like it fits the frame so well and it has a unique look that sets it apart. I’m really smitten by the fit and finish.

Thanks Bart, as long as you all don’t get sick of seeing it. 😄👍

Classic, love that one, pen or jack. 😎👍
Thanks Todd. I’m not going to get tired seeing that barlow.
