What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Wow....Jeff you have two prime examples of what GEC is capable of creating.👍🏻
Thanks, Bob. They do make sturdy knives. As you can see, I only have users.
But the shield on the 54 Big Jack is dumb. Completely unimaginative, no artistic or aesthetic effort. Just a hot dog without a bun? They went through the trouble of putting it on, but come on!
If it was wider, it would be perfect for having a jeweler engrave it. But it’s useless at that width.🤨B9FAC1AE-5812-49F4-8C68-55543ABD2CD0.jpegIs there a name for this shield besides Weinerschnitzel?

Got an appointment in town later this morning with my Podiatrist for nail clipping and a checkup of my ankle where they separated the Fibula when they made my new jaw out of it. Anyway, I'll be carrying my slammed in a truck door, shield fell out of, cracked cover, patched with J-B Weld, Chestnut, SS, Sod Buster Jr..

I've never been a fan of the bar shield myself, but couldn't have expressed it in such an eloquent, articulate manner beer.gif

Forecasting an excellent check-up!!

FWIW, I think it looks better without the shield.👍🏻

I really enjoyed when we could burn them. I can recall the smell now.

When I was a kid, we were jumping into a huge pile. Turns out neighbor threw in some poison ivy too. We were all in bad shape after that!!
Yikes 😧

I was immune to poison ivy well into my thirties. Then one day after I had been surveying, I discovered that I was no longer immune 😨
I had been so blase about it that I didn't even know what it looked like. I learned fast ;)

A cloudy start to the day in the City by the Bay! I believe it’s a harbinger of a wet week to come. I’m happy that the 49ers handed the Jags a beat down snapping a three game skid. My bride and I will be getting our flu and covid vaccinations later this morning she and Lou made a cameo appearance in today’s pic. Keeping me company with a nod to Metal and Micarta Monday Mr. Rodgers and Chuck Buck. Have a great week folks! 😀

name for this shield besides Weinerschnitzel?
"Dash"?

After one of Santer's roasts, ribs, bacon, n' burgers on the hoof ... until it time for Dash to retire ... or Santer's investment portfolio tanks, "forcing" fat boy and the Mrs. ... (and mebby the executive elf slave drivers) to eat the raindeers .... and send the old at, near, or over retirement age low level worker elf slaves to feed the remaining raindeer, in order to cut the costs of feeding the elf slaves and raindeer?
