You have a couple of nice ones there, Jeff. I'd like to see GEC produce another round of that big Jack exactly like yours, the equal end frame pattern and that light colored micarta really appeals to me.
Thanks, Greg! That 53 Electrician was a kind gift from our other Greg, Leslie Tomville Leslie Tomville , and I’ve being using it a lot. My other TL-29s are ticked off.

The 54 was the first GEC i bought. It was back before the collectors moved on from Beanie Babies, or whatever the were trying to grab up, and discovered GEC.
It cost me about $50 on the ‘bay. And I worried about forking out that much for a knife.🙀

Love your camping and woods romping photos ~ keep ‘rm coming.
Gathering the fall leaves is an annual chore that I love. I fire up the leaf blower, and line them up, then chop and bag them with the Cub Cadet. They are one of my secrets to a productive organic garden.
Here are some of my leaf corrals made out of scrap fencing. Fencing is another thing I never throw away. 🤪FF218833-811C-43A5-BCD7-90B94926C400.jpeg
Got an appointment in town later this morning with my Podiatrist for nail clipping and a checkup of my ankle where they separated the Fibula when they made my new jaw out of it. Anyway, I'll be carrying my slammed in a truck door, shield fell out of, cracked cover, patched with J-B Weld, Chestnut, SS, Sod Buster Jr..

Next time you’re in the Alturas Hardware Store, go in the plumbing section and get a bottle of potassium permanganate. A little solution of that should dye that bondo a nice reddish brown.
And since us old dudes have a hard time reaching those toenails, maybe this would help…D74EEB4C-1967-473D-A03F-E336067713C5.jpegOr not😁
I've never been a fan of the bar shield myself, but couldn't have expressed it in such an eloquent, articulate manner View attachment 2389632
“Bar Shield”! Yes, that’s it’s name. Superbly lame.
Bunny and the Waiter.

Sounds like a bad sitcom, but is a nice combination!

Hope he snaps back. 🤠

Not a good day... but I'll take the win. 🤣

Dynamic Duo. 🤠
He looks better today, thanks!
Threw his tennis ball, and he chased it down like a velociraptor, and then ran jubilant circles around me.
Will he ever learn to just give it back for another throw?🤣

Very nice carry today.👍🏻
Is there any historical value to the hills in the background? The sign leads me to that question.
The hills in the background were earthworks for a Civil War artillery fort. It is right across the street from my house. It is now a neighborhood park. About once a year the local Civil War guys will bring in some cannons and march around in their uniforms for an afternoon. The rest of the year it is just me, the dogs, and lots of wildlife. Most of the pictures I post are from this park.

Even though I don't garden, I enjoy your gardening pics and tales. My Dad had a green thumb. He knew what he was doing. Me..I've killed cacti 🙁
I corral/herd my leaves with the mower. By the time I've herded them to the field, they're pretty well mulched.

I really like that one 🤩:thumbsup::thumbsup:

Hi Jack,
I thought, since the Margrate needed some edge work, I would put a 15° edge on it.
A capable duo for today Jack.👍🏻
Thanks Bob, I put a 15 degree edge on a couple of my Lambs too :)
Thanks !

Nice pair and I hope you have a less busy week ! 👍
Thanks Steve, hoping to get everything finished by Friday :)
Super cool camp knife, Jack. 🤠
Thanks buddy, old Hammer Brand :)
Cool-looking knife
I thought of you this morning. In a complimentary way, not creepy.
When I used to write for national magazines here, I once bumped into a feller coming down the opposing escalator, who said, "Hey, I've just been looking at your photo!"
I said, "I hope you don't keep it under your pillow!" 🤣
Good morning all, may your week be a good one.View attachment 2389556
You too Bob :) Handsome pair there
