I am sorry to hear about all your troubles, but man you are survivor! Keep on keeping on with the pedal power. I have not been able to get out on my bike since before my kids were born, but man is a nice bike ride just something else.

That was my 15' Royalex Camper, by Old Town, on the Mackinaw River in Illinois, 2008. I had a mouse pad made with that image. Sadly, both of my canoes and my skin-on-frame kayak moved out about 5 years back. My wife would worry herself sick every time I headed out to the water. It just wasn't fair of me to do that to her anymore. I stick to mountain biking now, but that seems to be limited too, since my mishap back in July of this year. Can you say HEMATOMA? I'm pretty much afoot at present. I still ride, but am re-thinking my off-road riding. When my leg gets back to its normal size, we will see what happens.
I weigh 12 pounds less than I did when I graduated basic training in 1968, and am active and in good shape, but it seems Agent Orange has finally caught up to me. A heart attack in the fall of last year, two stents, and a progression to A-flutter & A-fib seems to have put her on edge regarding my solo outings on the Trek.
Any old mountain biker can fall down a hill... It takes a special sort of mountain biker to fall up a hill.
Pedal Power all the way. Electric is for light bulbs.

Oh lol, my bad, that was completely unintentional. I just added a few days to my own birthday and hit post not even realizing what others had guessed

Side note, a coworker told me about some trouble at his house. Long story short, if y'all were wondering if we have Cougars in South Carolina.....yes they are here & a good ways away from the mountains. Here's a pic from his yard.View attachment 2390202
