The Case is still on me though. Not that Iām keeping track, but I could swear you say things like āIāll carry this one for the rest of the month/yearā, but everyday you swap them out!
I have the same problem. I could stick with the same one(s) day after day, and sometimes try, but always find myself opening my knife drawer.
GPS and smart phones are handy, but trying to plot a general route on them is problematic due to the small screens. I like to be able to see the "big picture". Plus, paper maps never need chargingIt looks like we have the same little hobby of stopping in interstate rest areas to grab the latest official state map from the rack.
I have a big binder with pockets in which I keep them alphabetically. I have them from nearly every state Iāve driven through, but am still missing large chunks of the country.
Alot of it is in there posture and the way they walk, look for a confident shuffle step.not an early 70's New York shuffle step where the glide is longer than the step, but a feathered shuffle between steps.once you have seen it you will know it forever. The Stag on your knife does look pretty nice , but not every one has Stag to carry , so you must be avoiding a lot of people because how would you know who is carrying one . I do have some Stag to carry and it just makes me feel good to be able to carry it .

I had a similar experience, but with a happier ending. Last week I got up early to go to Tennessee. It was still dark. Got ready to go and couldn't find my car key. The last place I remembered having it was in the car the night before. Go out and shine a flashlight through the car windows. Not in the iginition, the console, the seats, or lying in the floorAnother beautiful day here in the City by the Bay! Yesterday afternoon was a total cluster fā-! I went to my favorite deli to pick up some crab cakes for dinner. I rode the R9 since parking is a pain there. I parked on the sidewalk and went to grab my wallet out of my MC jacket and it wasnāt there. I remember putting on the rear fender when I was leaving the house then I put on my jacket and helmet and gloves. I forgot to put it in my jacket pocket. I rode off and it was LOST! Called home and asked my wife to look for it on the garage floor and our street out front with no luck. Luckily I have my debit/credit cards on my Apple Wallet and was able to pay for the crab cakes. Spent the rest of the afternoon and evening canceling all the cards and getting a temporary license from the DMV. But the crab cakes were excellent! First time Iāve ever lost my wallet and hopefully the last. Keeping me company today the usual lamb and SAK electrician. Have a great day folks!

Well, I shouldnāt criticize the Hoosier State too much, since Iām stuck in Illannoysā¦GPS and smart phones are handy, but trying to plot a general route on them is problematic due to the small screens. I like to be able to see the "big picture". Plus, paper maps never need charging
I was in Indiana last year and discovered that they no longer offer print mapsBest to just avoid the state in the future.
Yessir. And a leaf blower can really get a fireSnowed lightly during the night but it's really coming down now. The weather man said we're going to get about two to three inches by mid-day. Not much and it's light, fluffy snow so for now it'll blow with our EGO leaf blower. Beats the heck out of shoveling. I've got a Buck LT on my belt. It may come in handy to slice snow flakes. Sausage and eggs for breakfast.

I was just out taking knife pics and its trying to sprinkleIf its going to rain us out, I wish it would just go ahead and do it.

I wish I had Bob! It was her last day working there, and her dental nurse, having already left, had been replaced by someone who didn't seem to know she's doing. I originally had the crown fitted 35 years ago, but I'll be surprised if it stays in place for another 35 weeksThanks Jack. I hope you brought your own super glue for the dentist!!
Absolutely Jer, it can be hard to find a replacement sheath, and the BPS sheaths are good quality, and very fairly priced. I like the look of the OntarioYes, that sheath was a stroke of luck. And under $15, as I recall. I bought an extra of the bushcraft field, which is in the hippie purse sheath. I should spring for another BPS sheath before they raise the price.
I'm sure it isn't neurotic at all to deliberately buy a knife I already have. I'll hide one in the garage.

I'm glad I stumbled on the Morta.
Thanks on the therapy. It always seems to involve strengthening muscles that are hard to find at first because I haven't used them in so long.
Beautiful pics
LOL!Thank you, as always Jack, for the wealth of information you share! I'm going to have to keep a lookout for one of the clip point variants too! The Action Knife! Makes it sound way more exciting than "ABS Pruner". Haha. I may actually keep this one clipped to my tool pouch it's just very nice to work with. They are still made for Klein it seems, although it is blue now instead of the awesome orange color.
Nice choiceToday I have a large TEW lambsfoot and will be running it through the paces.

I'm glad you found one JeffI need to do the same, Jack.
For a couple of years, weād been using a particular tooth shop. The dentist who owned it was an older guy who did fine work. When he sold it to a kid fresh out of dentist college, we should have moved on, but stupidly stayed with that place. He replaced an old crown of mine, and it fell out after a couple of months. Now, a year later, I realize he butchered this one up, too.
It sticks out just enough to cause me to bite my cheek if Iām not paying attention, and lately itās been hurting down inside.
We have a new tooth shop, and I need to make an appointment to have the butcherās work re-done.
My new dentist is also younger than me (arenāt they all now?), and is a female who judging by her accent ~ slightly British ~ is a recent immigrant from Africa. And she is excellent.
Good luck with everything buddyThanks! Haha - Thereās nothing like starting that clock over again.
I bought a paper map for my Christmas trip to Lanzarote today.
