What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Snowing lightly this morning with a bit more this afternoon and evening. Blowing and shoveling snow shouldn't be too bad. Will clear the driveways later but we're not going anywhere so it's not a priority. I'm still working on my "Gone to Hell - Brought Back by ME" Buck 112. I'm not going to spiffy it up. It has too much character to erase it by shining it up. It's still a good worker and very useful so it'll be on my belt today. Even it's sheath is well worn but still supple and good to go. Sausage and pancakes for breakfast.

If it came from the factory like that, it'd be disappointing. But as a high quality tool that's still capable of good work in spite of being a bit beat up, it's really appealing. That's a good one there.

View attachment 2409323I have a wicked flu,so this is in my housecoat ,you would be surprised how much I've used it in last 3 day, from cutting open different med packaging 📦

Totin these three for work. Just got this amazing Fall Creek pocket sheath from @Sharp & Fiery . Coleman is a great guy and would recommend him to anyone. Impeccable craftsmanship. Thanks, buddy 😃.

Fab pairing Steve 😎👍
New month, new knives. Going with Christmas colors this month instead of picking just two or three for the whole month. These two today. Have a great day everyone! 😎👍View attachment 2408983
Very handsome Bob 😎👍
Ferider, that Carothers is sweet, lovely burl wood. RALF is doing the honors for me today.

Great to see RALF Jeff 😊👍
Appealing pair of knives, Jack! I like both blade shapes very much, and both handle materials catch my eye (and won't let go 🤓 ).:thumbsup:
Many thanks my friend 😊👍
Jack, even with a good "phrase book", I think I'd have some communication challenges in Yorkshire! o_O😁
I used to see some guys carrying bats in cases at the ball fields and thought they were just "putting on airs". Now I wonder if maybe they were Polish! 🤓
Fantastic pair of knives you posted!:thumbsup::cool:
Possibly my friend, though quite a few folks from across The Pond have settled here 😁 I had a good chat with a feller from Boston, who lives near me, last weekend, and have a pal who settled here from Texas well over a decade back 👍 Thanks a lot Gary, nice to see that Coal Miner will be joining your rotation :) 👍

An eclectic combo today.
Thanks Jack for the Ukrainian knife.View attachment 2409310
I hope it comes in handy buddy 😊👍

Sweet Pair !

I think you’re joking, but I have heard some wild stories about Homeowner’s Associations!
Better get on it to be safe…
Yeah, I was joking. There's only three of us in the vicinity. A house catty cornered across the road, and one across the creek. If there's a homeowners association, they haven't invited me to join. :)

You're lucky Randy. Our kids are scattered all over the place. We have one in CO, OH, FL, DE, SC, and one only 60 miles away in PA. It's very rare that we can all get together at the same time anymore.

I hope you have a grand time making memories.
You have three fine knives to tackle those wreaths.🌲

Cool knife, Dan. It looks very old.
Is the sheath set up for belt or pocket carry? Both?

Thank you Jeff !
The knife is less than a year old.
I take it as a compliment that it looks old as that means that the fact that I have been using a lot shows :)

It is a gaucho knife, the smaller "Verijero" type (BF thread here )
The sheath is made with goat rawhide and very skilfully stitched together.
Gauchos would usually carry smaller knives like my Verijero in the front and larger ones in the back.
