Try not to overdo it. Dont want you to hurt your ankle again. Having a catch in your get a long on holiday wouldnt be fun. Good pair of knives to help you out.
Nice pair of knives!

Howdy, Porcheteers! Did I miss anything?

I went up to NYC at the beginning of December for Mom's 90 birthday. Had a great time. Picked up my first case of Covid for a souvenir. 🤒🤬 Feeling better now.

I'm carrying a set of piano key covers today:

Congratulations to your mom on reaching 90.
Great knives.
Sorry about the COVID. Glad you are better
Great photos. The mallards are awesome
Thanks, Rick. Yeah, I should go fishing more than I do…
One of these days!
You will have to find time during your gardening to fit in fishing

Thanks for the "welcome backs" and well wishes, everyone!

When I realized you has been AWOL, I just figured you were visiting Mom for Hanukkah. Hope it was a blessed holiday for you and Mom! My own Dad just hit 90 late last month ~ let’s hope their longevity can be inherited.
Happy birthday to your dad!
Both my parents are in their 90s now, and it dawned on me that their longevity could be inherited & I'd better take care of my health if I want to be as mobile and pain-free as possible. Mom is vegan and walks everywhere, and Dad is kind of the opposite, with a sweet tooth. I'm seeking the middle ground. 😇 In fact, I'm going to attempt a walk today if it warms up a bit.

Great to have you back Rachel, that's the big city for you! I hope your clash with Covid didn't spoil Hanukah, and that you had a nice time with your mom :)
Thanks, Jack. It's been very frustrating, to end my longest ever streak of not so much as a cold for 4 years. Oh well, it wasn't too bad, and my friends dropped off a plate of potato latkes on my porch and we lit the candles over zoom. 🙂🕎

Some striking wood there my friend 😊👍

Thanks a lot David, I need to watch out for my back too! 😱👍

Bad luck Rachel ☹️ I'm glad that you didn't get it too bad, and that you were able to celebrate a little 👍👍

Spent the week at work in this Radiation Detection course. At the end of the week the instructor asked “does anyone feel overwhelmed by everything presented this week?” I thought to myself “who wouldn’t?” Next sentence from instructor “Well we did just cover a semester’s worth of graduate courses in one week, so…” 😳😳😳

Albers lamb and the stag 77 with me all week in the spirit of the generous giveaway JonMcD JonMcD is hosting.

Morning Will.
No filework on the spring, what is interesting is that the liner appears to be a "pocket" of brass one piece. The handle is also one piece, it is not two separate scales. It looks like they have made a slot in the handle material and then put in a drawn or folded piece of brass. pins look like silver.
More evidence of top line construction. Probably not silver pins - too soft- but nickel-silver offering less staining than iron or brass? Whatever, this is a very fine knife, Saynor making high quality Pruners. A whole lot of envy being generated here :Do_O Look after it but I know it's in the right hands:thumbsup: (not entirely ....better in mine;) )

307 for a surprise extra volunteer day at the farm yesterday. Sunny and a projected 53 degree high. (I don't know if we actually got there.) Boker USA the rest of the day.
No reason to not carry the little Camillus today or any day, but what else today, I don't yet know.

Looks like an interesting course. That said by someone who has worked commercial nuclear power for almost 40 years.
