What a fun discoveryAnyone else relate to the Progressive ‘Dr. Rick’ commercial where he’s at the dumpster with ‘homeowners becoming their parents’ and making them throw stuff away? I have too much stuff. But, one of the benefits is that you re-discover things!!I stumbled across this Whittler Set while digging through my Man Cave. The blades need some work, but this find was a pleasant surprise!!

Dr. Rick is a dummy and should have his license pulled. In one commercial he advises that "...you don't have to leave your number because the phone does that." That only works if you're talking to a cell phone. A lady called me yesterday and left a message saying, "...you can call me at this number. Its my direct line." She didn't leave the number. She was talking to an old fashioned landline with an answering machine
You don't leave a number, you don't get called back. Fortunately, she was more interested in buying than I was in selling, so no loss, but still
None of the snow stuck yesterday. Its sticking a little today, but I don't think its going to amount to much here. I think its worse a few miles north.

Thank you. It is a Rock River Arms. Not to be confused with Rock Island Armory. In my opinion, one of the most overlooked 1911s on the market. Semi custom quality on the same level as Wilson or Baer.

I went to post today's totin' pic of this #21 Bull Buster and Titusville lamb, aaaand - all the dang buttons were most unfortunately grayed out in the field there (I hold an actual college degree in Information Technology, btw...
