What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Cunning/stupid plan today.🤭

Made a sandwhich with my HJ then felt sleepy.

As the sun was out (biter cold though) I filled a hot water bottle and went to sit in the Sun to snooze wearing sunglasses,2 coats, hat,gloves the lot. :cool:

The bottle got cold very quick just like me, but it was good while it lasted.

Now I feel like a real old duffer... :rolleyes: 😅

I always wanted a HJ since seeing them on here,this one is a stunner I couldnt get a better first HJ. 😍
Now I have 4 of the same pattern so I may have to do a trade sometime.
I love the way the awl runs so straight in a line with the handle.



















 
Still not letting me post pictures. Not sure what happened but when I click in the box to type a post, all the icons at the top to attach photos, etc disappear.

Today I’m carrying my Case/Bose wharncliffe trapper. I took a super-mediocre photo of it this morning on top of my mug of coffee on the kitchen counter. Again, you’ll have to use your imagination and trust.

Try clicking on the three vertical dots in the upper right hand corner of the reply box next to the preview post button.

She is beautiful. Our segregated cat, is very active some nights. If I start moving, she starts digging the covers, biting. Staying covered does not deter mine.
My other companion similar to yours stays on my nightstand

Awwww, she looks so cuddly and floofy!

Here are my two kitties today. The grey one is Gandalf and the Siamese is Inara. They are all cuddled up in my rocking chair on my fleece jacket to avoid the cold and snow.

I let them borrow the smallest/cat-ish sized knife I have. It is a an old Colonial keyring knife with actual scales and through pin construction, I have no idea how old it is. SAK Climber is my carry today and provided for scale.

Anyone else relate to the Progressive ‘Dr. Rick’ commercial where he’s at the dumpster with ‘homeowners becoming their parents’ and making them throw stuff away? I have too much stuff. But, one of the benefits is that you re-discover things!! 🤪😜 I stumbled across this Whittler Set while digging through my Man Cave. The blades need some work, but this find was a pleasant surprise!!
