Sounds delicious, Ed. Sweet cowbell. Have a great day my friend.Leaving for town in a couple hours. We haven't been since last Thursday so we need to get some vittles for the larder. The Wagon Wheel Cafe is closed on Wednesdays so we'll most likely eat at the Brass Rail. It's lamb stew day and the owner uses lamb meat from the lambs they raise. They serve it with salad and homemade bread. Yummy!!!!! Putting off breakfast to save room for lamb stew. I'll be carrying this Black Curly Maple SS Sowbelly on our adventure.

What sorcery is this? Barehead, and secondary on the the mark side, as it should be. Perfect! May I ask who did the modifications? I have dreamed of this very build.
Whatchya' listening to Bob? Something as lovely as that Kroo, I hope?Since it's 1° out I will combine two interests today.
It's by Josh Fisher, this one was customized for me from a stock "Hunstman" model. I highly recommend Josh's work for superior heat treat and cutting geometry, this is a very hard-working knife. I intend to either wear it out or die trying. You can find some in stock at DLT, I believe. What is the top one. (I wish people it was custom to specify what's in the photos.)
As always, I'm late for the party JohnIt’s been a busy weekend! We’ve been running back and forth across the mountain to the hospital anxiously awaiting the birth of our first grandbaby. Thursday was a false alarm, but Friday night we were back again. Then very late last night we were blessed with a beautiful granddaughter. Both Momma and Baby are doing well; Son-In-Law is a little worse for wear, but nothing that a good night’s sleep won’t fix. Incidentally, he probably won’t get that for awhile.![]()

Oh man I remember my grandma had one of those at least 25 years ago (maybe longer) it had the name of the company she worked for on it. I wonder what ever happened to it. Hmm....View attachment 2460470my mom gave me this for Christmas 30 years ago, from when she lived in staff house. Carried it until tip broke off.
