We had a couple inches of snow over night. No need to plow - just shovel the sidewalks and sweep the porch steps. Other than that, I'll be flying my desk with this Schatt & Morgan close at hand. Afterall, it's Stag Saturday. Mashed up sausage and soft waffles for breakfast.

Gifted 77 Improved Muskrat, and 766, which according to a post I dug up, Schrade called a Wharncliffe Pattern ~ even though it has no Wharncliffe blade.
It’s been re-hafted in stag by Glenbad, so not only can I celebrate Schradurday, but I can join the cool kids in Stagurday.
Thanks, Bruce and Bob!
And my Handyman.

Nice enough ................... but ................ you said you was going to tote that Case Grandaddy Barlow today. I was looking forward to seeing it this morning. :(
Now ..... I am disappointed, sad, dejected, sorrowful, depressed, etc. :(:(:(:(:(:(:(:(:(:(:(:(:(
I reckon I will have to get better pictures of mine to try and enable you. ;):p

I had it out last night, really. But that was before undisrembered that today was Schradurday/Bestday!

Being retired, the only thing that helps me keep track of the days are Do I have to drive my daughter somewhere today, and is this play guitar in church day?

But be not distressed or diamapointed, my friend. I left the Granddaddy Barlow out for tomorrow!

View attachment 2481719View attachment 2481720Another cloudy day here in the City by the Bay! Yesterday I arose from my daily Power Nap to find a letter from the local Department of Public Works saying that our water consumption had risen significantly 19 gallons an hour since 1/21. My immediate thought was WTF is going on! That kind of leak I would have noticed if it was coming from inside of the house. I opened the back window and saw that the hose connected to the spigot was running at above half pressure. Of course I went down and turned it off. I had no idea how it got turned on. We have a tenant who lives in the apartment downstairs and I asked him if he had used the hose and he said yes he had used it wash his windows. He’s a young guy and a good tenant and was very apologetic for not checking to see if the water was turned off all the way. I’m loath to see our next water bill ☹️. We only use the backyard at night to let the dog out so we didn’t notice it. On a brighter note, keeping me company the usual lamb and new TC.

With all your experiences, I think you'd be disappointed by the pheasants here :( :D When I was a kid, me and my dad used to go fishing, early in the morning, with a workmate of his, Arthur. As we drove along the country lanes, we'd regularly come across a pheasant, standing in the middle of the road, looking stupidly into the headlights. Arthur would jump out, wring its neck, and throw it in the back of the car. Sometimes we'd come home with 2 or 3 pheasants :D

Have a great weekend everyone

Gorgeous scales on the K’roo.

Mostly a lazy Saturday but I will be out later for my godson’s hockey game, so these for now at least.
