I think I worked out its age range.

1940-64 is what it is. Nice too ! Some people call that time period of Case knife a "straight XX"

That’s a tough one! If I’m only carrying one knife, I usually grab a Stockman so I guess clip, but I’m glad I have more than one pocket.

But that Redbone Whittler.... How can one man have so much beauty in his life ?

Maybe because I got old and not so pretty.
I got that 1975 year model whittler at a knife show in Lexington about 12 years ago. The guy that had it, had a bunch of Case red bones for sale ........ but that one kept calling out to me. I finally paid up (a bit less than a hundred) and it was the only knife I bought at the show. Should have bought a few more from him, in hind sight. A couple more looks at it, just for you Will.

Dave, the wood is stabilized spalted maple. S30V on the blade. I've had this one for 13 years.
