Best kind of used knife.Black box Winchester smooth bone moose and an Ulster whittler with some age and several miles on it. That is some honest pocket wear on the jigged bone whittler. Someone prior to me got a lot of use outta that old knife. Blade wear as well but still retains very good snap opening and closing.

Thanks Jon.You are right sir. Nothing like the sound of the bat and a smile on a kid’s face when they hit a good one.
That horsey bone is lookin so good. The 93 frame is a stunner!

Auto/Switchblade or lever lock?I havent taken this out in a while ive had since a child, about 52 or more years.
It belonged to a German WW2 Uboat submariner,I think he was the Captain.
Its big, strong and light,I chipped the blade when I was a kid.
Brass shines well, wood is perfect, all the pins are still flush, its built to a high standard.

Thank you. The sample size is small for me but this is some of the best I’ve seen.
Sounds like a plan, all right! Thanks Gary, I will.
My plan is to remain caretaker to that one and the Franklin half for as long as I'm around these here parts.
Of course, one never knows...![]()
I vaguely remember that!Thank you, sir! If you recall, it was one of your sub-sets that initially sparked my interest in Case knives.![]()
Thanks, Gary. As my coffee cup says, I appreciate the sediments.
Then you're becoming a canoeseur! The Canoe is becoming a favorite. View attachment 2486367
Congrats on tracking down one of those walnut Rogers jigged bone Case models, Chris!
Thanks for the info, Paul.Thank you, Gary. He has made a number of them. Think I even saw a 3 blade cattle knife recently.
Interesting info, Jack; I've lived a sheltered life!...
Thanks for bringing Tyson's post to my attention Gary, I'm afraid I missed itI had never thought of that
The Fry's stuff is like chocolate-covered jello, but you can get better stuff here, certainly as good as I've had in the Middle East. It goes well with strong coffee, but can't say it is a particular favourite of mine. However, Brian @Fixall generously sent me something, which is similar, but better I think (very nice Schrade Barlow too

I'm still not completely confident in my pocketknife pattern identification skills, so I appreciate knives like your corn knife that explicitly display their pattern name!...
Thanks, Gary. I'm adding another ancient ivory "oddball knife" to my pockets today.

Festive covers!
They had some high energy hits back then, Bob!A fine Waynorth Mitch.
It keeps reminding me of Mitch Ryder and the Detroit Wheels singing "CCRyder" 1966
Valley Jack is a beauty !
Thanks, guys.Valley Jack is A+!
Your jigged bone Charlie Lamb is outstanding, Taylor!Time for a cold beer!

Bart, I like the nutty bars, too, but I've had stout that's supposed to have nutty bar flavor, and I'd advise passing on that!I love Little Debbie nutty bars. I didn’t know they had ice cream. I’ll have to keep my eye out for that.
U win. I don't no what tho.
It is know how on earth did I carry it when younger, though it is lightweight. That’s a handful!!!!
