What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

My dad passed away in December and I'm slowly going through his tools. It's not easy because his garage was his haven and although I was allowed to use it, I was never really welcome to. His garage and his tools were his. If we were working on cars, trucks, motorhomes, motorcycles and boats we worked on them together. Him doing the work and me fetching tools and trying to learn.
Now suddenly it's mine. I'm starting to feel that he wants me there and has given his permission although it is still tough.
Long story short, I'm finding some interesting things.
It's far from pristine but this little congress of his is going to get a ton of pocket time.20240226_152547.jpg20240226_152406.jpg20240226_152344.jpg20240226_152337.jpg20240226_152449.jpg

I'm sorry to hear about your loss. I know it's a hard time for you & your family.
That old case will be a fine carry with a lot of sentimental value added to it. A little bit of clean up & some fresh oil, it should be good to go. It'll keep the memories alive & ready to make new ones.

Wasn’t planning on being in town but the water tank under my Ute tray has broken off. Waiting and waiting for it to be sorted out at the mechanics.

A bit of context. Was a bugger to try and get in and unbolt with one shifter.

I'm taking the Yeti for a test drive over the next few days alongside the Case. It's a very nice knife. Super well done and excellent action.

The case sowbelly is pretty much permanently attached to me.... So we will see how it goes, lol!

Sorry to hear about your loss. My dad’s been gone for almost 30 years and I think of him everyday. That Congress has stories to tell and will be a ready reminder of your dad. God bless you and your family!!

Had these 3 with me today .

Sometimes carry the barlow but never use it. The other 2 are great users .

I’m very sorry for your loss. My dad has been gone 8 years this April and I miss him every day.
