What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Staggered down to grind some coffee beans this morning, and was greeted with the dreaded “Is that what you’re wearing to church?”
She wanted to iron my khakis.
Instead, I picked a pair of relatively clean jeans. And since they do not have a hole in the watch pocket like the stupid Carhart jeans I’ve been wearing all week, I was able to bring along my wee little SW micro Stockman. Woo hoo.

Snuck up front to shoot it on my home made guitar while the faithful masses were thinking about finding their pews.

Have a blessed day!View attachment 2518956

ugh ... "can't" help it. I "gotta" change the r'egg-ler Barlow on daye 13.
(Daddy Barlow I can't show in traditionals will stay on duty the entire 30 and then sum.)
TC 141122 "Tom's Choice" that I won in waynorth waynorth 's GAW ('People's Choice' award. Something like 9 or 10 put their name in the hat for me) a couple years ago.)
The blade etch is since worn away. ( waynorth waynorth Charlie, If I offer Mr. Bill enough Franklins, do you think he would be willing to re-etch the blade ... maybe a little deeper than the first go? "No!"? ehh ... oh well ... I didn't think so. 🤔)

Pairing it with the Imperial Frontier Double Eagle (even tho it has "stainless" blades) Stockman. It has dark wood covers, too ... and a long pull on the clip point blade.

I think this might be the double-headed eagle of the ecumenical patriarchate of Mount Athos and the Greek Orthodox Church in general.

It has the crown above and is clutching a crowned orb.
Even though it's stamped Czechoslovakia on the other side. Maybe an SFO for the Ecumenical Patriarchate Club.

I bought it yesterday for $3.
I have to aspire to make it a new shield, but with my skills...
Interesting find. If it's stamped Czechoslovakia, the double headed eagle might refer to Bohemia which became part of the Austro-Hungarian Empire 1867-1918, then Czechoslovakia 1918-38, again 1945-92 when it separated into present day Czech Republic and Slovakia. This knife looks like from the early years 1918-38. You should ask somebody to send you a Federal Shield to glue in :)
